How high is your sensitivity?

Leading shots comes naturally after a while. Also the amount of lead changes from tank to tank as shell velocity differs. Just get used to the tank you are driving and you should be able to lead shots fine.

If you have trouble aiming cupolas in brawling situations, you may need to adjust your mouse sensitivity.

at 2k games i believe u are playing lower tiers like tier 1-4, here is some tips.

1: take your time to aim, wait for aiming circle to close in every shots

2: different guns have different characteristics. Like howitzers found on the hetzer or the m4 can have low shell velocity thus u need to give more lead, AP shells have moderate shell velocity but some have really slow shell velocity. HEAT has moderate-low shell velocity. APCR has the highest shell velocity, HE has moderate-low shell velocity. however different ammo types are used for different situations and i recommend u just try using AP for most parts

3: do not be afraid to use premium rounds. There are times where u have to switch to premium rounds, if u encounter heavily armored targets and higher tiered targets u might to to switch to premium rounds, and aim at weakspots

4: when in doubt of tank armor layouts refer to: tanks.gg

ok thats all i can advice

Don't be afraid to use max zoom in sniper mode.

Sounds like a joke, but my hands often get shaky when trying to do fine precision things like aiming under duress and I'm doing noticeably more damage since they made the increased zoom feature part of the base game.

LT-playing masochist. It's too much fun to be a mosquito.

Turn down sensitivity and just take your time, try leading shots and know which ammo will hit better

Keep a tier2, non autoloading tank so you can join the proving ground and battle bots. You can practice shooting here with most bots stopping and some will keep moving while not shooting. Try to equip the most accurate, lowest penetration, lowest damage gun you can use: you are gonna practice against bots anyway. Its not just shooting really, its about shooting and ducking/repositioning/keeping on the move.

Try a cleaner crosshair like Dashed with Aimpoint, with the turret indicator as Solid and O shaped with armor pen indicator. Focus on the crosshair always.

There are players that 'chase' the target with their reticle. There are players that choose a position ahead of the target early and just time when to shoot. Sometimes you use both, which depends on alot like the gun, projectile speed, speed of your target, target distance, etc.

Remap your settings to nearby keys, ex. Rightclick = zoom, E = autoaim, Q = cruise forward, etc.

Develop a habit of aiming low because immobilizing a tank via tracks hit will be a better target. If he has a rep kit, he'll still have to start from 0 speed and accelerate slowly, which is still an easier target.

I use a Purpose Built Corsair mouse with a "Sniper Button" that you can pre program a Mouse sensitivity level to it.

Gives you the freedom of normal sensitivety for Tank control, and Low sensitivety for Sniper/zoomed shots.

Vote NOW, to Wall up the Lakeville Valley Pass.
