You know, Looking on the response makes me want to buy it. And i hope the Weeb in Japanese and other countries also buy it.

I rate this along with the new upgraded equipment that can only be had if you top the ranked battles - just stupidity, its not skill its how much premium ammo you run. Significant paid advantage isn't going to make the game fun for anyone.

Oh i will. Rather sick of the hypocrisy  in this community, paper prototype tanks are barely tolerated but video game tanks aren't.

 

Sigh i guess no matter which gaming community i drift to first world problems and over entitlement issues will always be prevalent,

if you were expecting any form of historical a accuracy after how unhistorical they made the Swedish HT and making the fake VK72.01K into a regular tier 10 tanks, the PzKpfw VII, then I really want you definition of what "reaslism" is

I know man, i've read the reference about VK70/72/Pz.VII before you tell me about it. the Pz.7 is actually the Löwe, right? not the existing "Pz.Kpfw.VII" we all know.

 

as I'm a new member in this forum, so maybe most of you guys don't recognize me well and misunderstandings occurs pretty often, that's okay tho.

so fyi, I'm not that kinda player who only "play" and I'm not being ignorant about how fake this game is.

I'm interested to learn about the development, history of armored vehicles since long time before I know WoT, so... that's why I'm here.

ps. I'm not claiming myself as historian / tank expert.

 

personally, I'm not expecting 100% historical accuracy and realism from this game, what I actually expect is the impressions and good experience of a competitive game that they call realistic.

 

so the "realism" I mean is, at least the fake vehicles are well covered with fake development history and related to the existing ones, in alternative term "historical-ish" or "realism-ish".

you need to realise this is just a game, not an armored vehicle development archive / history book. and you need to understand how hard is it to dig up the blueprints, information, etc, from history archives. maybe some archives are classified out there.

after that, balancing, placing to possible compatible tiers.

 

not all players willing to do research to prove if the vehicles in the game are fake or real. only some tank experts, big fans of tanks and WoT development contributors would do. the complains about fake contents would not be that much, as most players don't notice if the vehicle was historical or not. and some of the community members wouldn't complain the way how WG try to make money as much as possible, as long if it doesn't ruin their game.

WG's plan would "working as intended"

 

basically, don't implement the obviously fake ones. in this case, cartoon contents / references.

 

ps. I don't mean to be salty / butthurt about this topic / hate on you. just mean to share my opinion and straighten everything up to avoid further misunderstandings.

TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN, Sorry to say this WG but releasing Prem tanks after prem tanks is just making you look greedy, No hate, just telling the truth of what everyone is thinking. It's just come to the point in which Prem tanks is just redundant. As I said we have more Premium tanks than we have new maps. Please just stop, There's still hope to make the game better for everyone, Ty.

Or they overcompensated for the massive cry for new tanks to be sold for years, again don't like it, don't buy it....

Sorry myself if I came across as a [edited], I respect your opinions and everything.. but this one line is the only thing that I can not except about fake tanks, There is a simple solution: adding in a line to the description that states: "this tank is an artists impression of a what-if scenario" for fake tanks, or; "this tank has unhistorical elements to it for balance purposes" to other tanks where it fits.

 

I mean, if a tank can fit in in its historical configuration or as close to it as possible then I say go for it. There's no reason to keep an historical tank unhistorical when the historical version would still work fine *stares longingly at Swedish HT*

 

 

on a side note can we get a ban on the word "weeb" "weebs" "weeaboo". It's a derogatory term / insult and forums rules say

Given that language is colorful, why sanitize everything, thinking like that kills free speech. Any word or term can be used derogatory, that's life, you'll be permanently offended online, there are more important things to worry about surely.

Well....

While the word has negative connotation, i take anime fans like to use the word as self-depreciation or as dry humor among themselves.

 

So i would really surprised if a moderator will ban someone because that word alone.

I'd be all for a ban on weebs as well as anime. Both get used in a derogatory context. It would make the forums a much cleaner and safer place for all.

It's anything but an insult, and I am a weeb myself... Others may see it differently but it's not offensive imo and is mostly used in dry humour if it's tried to be used as an insult...if you feel my judgement is wrong, there is a report button and/or a support section that you can use to push forward your case.
