Hello! It's just my 3rd week since I started playing World of Tanks, so please bear with me if my question is too noob-ish.

So, I just purchased a new Tier V SPG from Germany - which is the Grille. My problem with this SPG is that whenever my crosshair (or aim) goes outside of the yellow ring, the dotted circles couldn't cross from then on. Does it mean that my aim is bounded within the yellow circle? Thanks. (Refer to the picture below)

NOTE: I also had the same problem with the US M41 HMC (Tier V - SPG)

P.S.: With SPG's lower than Tier V, I did not have this problem; such as with the Tier IV Pz.Sfl. IVb SPG and the Tier II G.Pz. Mk. VI. Wherein I could shoot outside the yellow ring.

yes, this is because low tier artillery can not shoot across the whole map. you can only shoot within  the yellow circle. Higher tier vehicles usually can see the whole map though, which is something to look forward to. I recommend trying to get as close as possible (safely) during games.

Oh okay. But how come I could aim much further with the Tier IV Pz.Sfl. IVb SPG and the Tier II G.Pz. Mk. VI?

Depends on map size and gun caliber. Some maps aren't 1000x1000, so you might think it has further reach or the gun caliber is larger but the barrel is shorter, which affects it range, but this will always be compensated through other gun stats like aim time, reload, splash, etc.

Also because low tiers tend to have smaller maps more often like province, mittengard, widepark. Also due to above explanations of gun on the spg and map size(like mines the area of engagement is usually within range while on others you might need to move up).

You say low tier but the CGC sure can't hit across the map.

Just to point out 1 more thing - the area you were looking at is also not within the arc of your gun, that's marked by the 2 pale white lines radiating out from your position.
