Excellent suggestion for your first post.  Welcome to the forums and make sure you really push the issue about getting more cartoon and weaboo Tonks in game........for the balance.

The Starr Hetzer was a prototype of the Hetzer for simplified mass-production, it did away with the recoil system in favour of the hull itself absorbing it, a few saw action at the very end of the war so it at least actually existed.

Why the op would actually want it however is a mystery, as it is basically identical to a regular Hetzer (and certainly in game terms pretty much would be).

There were plans to fit a Jagdpanzer 38(t) with the L/70 (the Panthers gun), could be a decent tier V or VI premium.

There's also the Vollkettenaufklärer 38(t) which mounted either a twin 2cm Flak 38, and in one case a 7.5 cm K51 L/24 gun.

Why Starr Hetzer? Doesn't seem like an improvement over normal Hetzer.

So it's lighter, but has worse soft stats. And is stuck with a proper gun instead of a derp.

It's got a good name (insert Ringo Starr jokes here), but nil in terms of uniqueness.

A normal Hetzer except that the gun is bolted directly onto the superstructure, like George Brighty's 17 pounder Sherman.

The idea is that it's slightly cheaper to make the tank that way.

You know you can scroll up and read above posts, right?

But anyway I'd love to see the Panzerjäger 38(t) mit 75mm L/70 (Hetzer with Panther's gun) as a tier 5 premium, even though I wouldn't buy it personally. Would be very interesting to see.
