QuickyBaby covered the mechanics behind credit making income.

https://www.youtube....h?v=LnSiJd0YLJw

Short Version

Deal more damage, Win.

Longer Version

Higher tiers have a higher multiplier

Winning +85% multiplier

Shooting A Higher tier tank +10% +1, +20% 2 tiers

Setting Tank on Fire/Ammo Rack (you get the damage and credits)

Spotters get 50% of the credits for damage dealt

Extra Credits for Initial Spots

Bonus for Entire Team for Capturing Base

Individual Tanks Have Credit Co Efficient (premiums AKA how good they are at farting money) KV5 better than Defender in that regard apparently.

Premium Account

Clan Credit Booster

Personal Reserves

I knew most of it, but exact numbers are nice (50% for spotting, higher tier, winning game).

love it when i see the guy who get paid by WG (quicky) asking people to buy all premiums, he always promoting for all type of premiums

In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him.

more than 400 new vehicles are still planned for World of Tanks

He denies ever being paid by WG, except for commentating on the eSports thingy. He makes his money from YouTube.

I was rather (pleasantly) surprised he outright called the Shameless P2W...rather than hedging and going "overpowered"

Honestly there is a lot of hate like this thrown at Quickybaby, that he is a WG puppet and while I  would not say he is the best out there or anything; frankly while he always puts it politely he is plenty critical of WG and the hate really is not justified.. Swearing @ WG != integrity. Not swearing @ WG != puppet. BTW I  like SirFoch more. Just a different style.

Its more like its because he always takes a fairly pro WG position on everything and hypes up all the new premiums.

QuickyBaby just strikes as one of those too-optimistic, too-enthusiastic guys. He doesn't really give you a good review, but it's not because WG is actually paying him under the table, he's just so positive that he's naturally uncritical of flaws.

To be fair, based on what I've seen in his videos, he seems to manage the flaws on his tanks fairly well. Not saying that he shouldn't highlight them more for inexperienced players watching his videos who tend to be slow on the learning curve (like me) though.

Then again, this is just me.

In all seriousness though I don't get why so many people hate him. Yeah, he's a little too enthusiastic. Yeah, he doesn't curse more than a sailor as far as WG is concerned, but are that really the only reasons that people hate him?

More or less, I do not hate him but you can get a parrot, shove a stick up its butt and teach it to sing "WG is great" and get the same effect almost.

Mostly cause by envy imo. Even I didnt enjoy his review/video, I cant find any reason to hate him. Its natural if you get some sort of succes in something, you gather envious haters along the way.

If you haven't seen his 'I'm all emotional because you think I'm a shill' video, definitely worth a look in case you had any doubts over the fellow.

Credit income has been hurt badly for any player that cares about their overall  win rate. Since the MM is so incredibly broken for tier 8s you have a choice.. you can make credits but expect to have little positive outcome on winning the match or you can spam a lot of premium rounds make very little income or even a loss and only somewhat improve your relevance to winning the match.

The lack of improvement in tier 8 MM is probably doing more to kill this game than even the P2W OP premiums & Tier 10s... and that is saying a lot.

I am not sure WG realise exactly how important it is that they fix this situation quickly.

They have done something to fix it, they gave (basically) everyone a really good tier 6 tank.

I've noticed far more tier 6/7 games.

Going forward, I hope they keep this type of solution going. I would like a free tier 6 American HT crew trainer...

Hint hint.  :)

For me the biggest issue affecting credit making, among other things in the MM proffered 3-5-7 games.

MM will prioritise the 3-5-7 tier spread because they say it's fairer for everyone. In other words there are a good deal of same tier players on the enemy team that you can be effective against. But IMO it just means that you are more often bottom tier. With MM not also balancing type by tier more players are resorting to premium. With many players resorting to premium ammo, people feel they have to retaliate with premium ammo. It's a vicious circle.

Tier 8 suffers the most because the higher tiers never see this preferred spread. With the number of tier X's playing and MM preferring to select only three for a battle there is a large drain of tier 8s into tier X:3-5-7 games. So if you are playing tier 8 you will be bottom tier more often than not shooting premium ammo, as well as costing more is probably doing less damage hence earning less. It's a big sink hole.

Ideally MM should probably put the same tier as the favoured spread, possibly pissing off preferred MM tank players. The 5-10 tier spread would be a compromise, although I think that this would put tier 9 in a similar position to tier 8 at them moment.

Hm, on the subject of pumping up tiers under T8, anyone notice that they just made a ton of T7s premiums permanent additions to the shop? And they're nearly half the price of a T8 (well, SOME T8s).

I wonder if we'll see more new T6/7 premiums.

Yeah, I noticed they are in the tech tree as well. Atleast I noticed the German heavy. Maybe it's always been there, I don't go to often looking at that tree.

The NA server is selling the KV-122 at the moment. I wonder if that's the plan. More premium vehicles throughout the tech tree.

It won't be long that grinding tanks will be so old school. Players will brag about when they started you had to grind a stock tank...
