Hay guys, me again

At what point should I consider joining a clan in WoT? I'm use to playing on Discord from my WoWS account and kinda miss the banter when I play here.

Also other than this how do they benefit you or is it pretty much just having fun divisioning up most of the time. (Is it even worth it at this stage for me).

I know that CW seems to be tiers 6, 8 or 10 (?) and that it seems to basically suit specific tanks for each tier because of there strengths. I believe that the Cromwell and Type 64 are two of the tier 6's, but what other ones should I look at? I'm wondering if I should consider starting to grind one/some of them now. This way I'll have a reasonable amount of experience with them for when I do hop on board, especially as I'm pretty sure I won't have picked the right lines now as I like quirky, often difficult to play lines. (Don't ask me why as I haven't the foggiest idea as to why, maybe I just like frustrating myself lol).

Not to sure on how strongholds works.

Anyway as always I appreciate any advice.

Depends on what you really want out of a clan. Tier 6 Clan Wars is going to be removed as of next season, and judging by your battle count I would guess you don't have the right tanks for tier 8/10.

Most new players nowadays enter a clan just to socialise, or play strongholds. There's plenty of options in regards to social clans, just find one with a community that suits you. Make sure they're active.

You can join strongholds as a legionnaire, so that might help you choose which clan you want to join.

Start grinding an IS-3 or a T32 for Clan wars, as they're pretty much meta (apart from the premiums, but that's not something you should be worrying about now), and don't take too much skill to do decently.

Or, if you want to give strongholds a go, Type 64 and Cromwell are great for the quick brawls. Main difference with Strongholds is that it's 7v7 and each team has the opportunity to call in an artillery / bomber strike.

Hope that helps.
