Anything within 50 meters auto spots you regardless of what is between you both.

If you mean further away than 50 meters, then a bit of you is poking out or over, or another tank you can't see is spotting you around the building.

You see, tank crews are very skilled. They can identify tanks by just the sound of their engines.

well i seen and experienced strange things like they see you and shoot you without even been spotted for enemy team not to mention when use spg its like they know where you are

In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him.

more than 400 new vehicles are still planned for World of Tanks

If you have a decent or even average WR / WN8; just assume that the SPG will focus on you regardless if they have an easier/more important target to hit.

A single indication of where your are, obvious/well known camping bush or the moment you show your presence; a shot will be fired sooner than expected.

They will ride you even if they die trying.

*edit: Oh yeah, this is also true even if they are not SPG's hence on why they're called XVM snipers.

When an enemy Arty "one shots" 2 of your teams' heavies and you're in a heavy tank, you know you're screwed.

A heavy tank should have armor and a big gun, if you don't have either then you're not.

Replay, maybe?

Sounds a lot like a proximity spot, which has been around for ages.

A) The main one is the auto detect range/circle.. very noticible in HT in city battles.

B) There are some glitches on some maps (eg himmlesdorf) where there appears to be some building gaps from missing texture/polygons which make it possible to spot tanks in obscure locations or within start zones. (Im not sure if they still exist since 9.20). What do I mean? I am in my base at start of battle behind a building (have not moved) and my 6th sense activates within first 20secs of battle :amazed:

I think with 29k battles he's aware of proxy spotting l o l.

I think this has more to do with a bug, but he'd probably need to provide a replay if it were a bug.

Gaps in buildings will allow the spotting mechanic to work.

Don't play arty.

thanks
