The requirements for the next marathon will be harder than last time with the introduction of the Swedish line, and potentially the polish line too. The requirements will probably be the same as last time in the same amount of time too.

marathon for, say a tier 5/6/7 prem, so more low tier players playing = would make high tier games maybe a little bit more generous with top tier/same tier MM

AGREE. The freebies should be easier to get Tier 6/7 premium tanks. Give pubbies a reason to play those tiers more often.

But what is everyone's favourite way to gain tanks? Marathons? Grinding? Buying?or personal missions. Cause if anyone remembers the su 100y 'marathon' all u had to do was login 60 days in a row to get a free t6 box tank. Should wg bring more of these back? Personal I think so cause it encourages players to at least play the game every now and then and makes it more interesting than just grinding or paying for tanks.

What about a Tier 8 OP Premium heavily Armored SPG of some imaginary kind?

Surely this would Tick ALL the WG Listening Boxes, for their loyal customers.

Vote NOW, to Wall up the Lakeville Valley Pass.

So Many Idiots.

So little Shells.

If you're going to do these marathons for tanks shouldn't they make the tank you're playing for influence the tanks you can play for it. IE: if it's low tier (4-6) then make it you'd have to play tier 3-7 in a non premium tank. If it's tiers 7-8 then make it you have to play a non-premium tank from tier 5-9. Why no tier X or premium tank, well tier X's get the best MM at the moment so have a significant advantage in game and you want people to actually play the lines don't you?

Another aspect is to limit the nation or class you could play, if it's for a Russian tank then it has to be ground out on any tank from tier 4-10 on any Russian lines. If it's a medium reward then you have to play mediums but not limited to nation.

Lastly WG could gain a lot by giving you daily log in bonuses. There's really no incentive to keep people coming back to the game. Wouldn't be hard to implement and you'd keep newer players interested. the longer you have the daily log in the better the rewards. Maybe after 3-4 months they give you a premium tank as a thank you, like Glenso mentioned above.
