well i'll appreciate that, i don't have many prem tank on this account. But i have 4 prem tank and 1k gold on my another account, cuz wg said they would merge our account. And if they say just "just email us proof of the ownership or proof of buying that prem tank or gold" i'll gladly give it to them. It's okay if all of my tank on my 2nd account isn't transferred, atleast transfer my prem tank and gold to my main account.

The merge wasn't merely offered initially, then quickly corrected, the offer was left in place for what 2 and a half months? August 22 I entered my ticket to have my accounts merged. That's a little different from a quick typo that is swiftly resolved. That merge was dangled out in front of us. I pointed it out to friends. Friends of mine spent money they would not have otherwise spent BECAUSE the accounts were to be merged and now I feel like a piece of shit because they've wasted money on something I brought up. It's pure bait and switch. 

 

You want to do something for us, but can't because you can't do the merge? Fine. Refund us. Refund premiums, refund premium time. Refund gold. Do something other than spew empty platitudes. But you won't because you, much like the company you represent don't have the moral fortitude to do so.

Me and about 6 old time mates tried it tonight, low ping but lag was red all the way for us, we got  <25 ping but game was unplayable.. logged into hong kong or USA and higher ping but no red lag.. Very odd

After the patch 9.20.1 i have been observing that the server "W.O.T" on which I used to play has gone and now I am getting a option to choose bewteen the "Singapore" server and the "Australia" server. I have access to both the servers.

 

Can somebody plz explain what is going on?

(By the way I live in India)

ASIA Now has Two Clusers to pick when you login, Sinapore and Australia

Please note that the Australian server will only be active from 6pm – 12am AEDT daily

Australians finally get a local server, but it's only turned on during peak hours

Green and 30 ping, its beautiful compared to what you get on NA and ASIA from Australia

From India I would suspect that SIngapore is a much better bet for you based on network connectivity.

Great launch last night, most battles were close, had a few draws as well, but the time needs to be extended. I know there would be a lot more players that would join or come back to play if the time was extended.

I really enjoyed playing with 10 - 20ms ping

Yup i am from India too and you are better off sticking to singapore server.

After playing on the A/NZ server I will only play on the times it's active now. It is a much better playing experience than playing on the Asia server. Here's to hoping that it becomes an all the time thing.

G'day Mate's,

Logged on 2 or 3 minutes past the hour, 65 ping........about 1000, players on the ANZ Ping reached as high as 95-ping but settled down to about 80-ping, at the end about 3500-players on ANZ and 13000 on

other, don't know who the other was but total 16000 all up..............at 11,pm got bumped for server maintenance........all in all had a great time.........

 

i don't care what the experts say...........playing on a low ping and good link has made all the difference to the game, i had no lag and i could see my shot hit the target.........the control of the Tank improved by 60% the other 40% was just my bad driving......LOL....and my kill rate was the best it's been for an ordinary bloke.........so i have come to the conclusion i have been handicapped by bad links and high......... PING.........i know what it can be like so no more [edited]from the so called experts about bad players because with the right gear we can play as good as most average bloke's........and that's where i like it.....

It should be noted that there's a significant difference between how well someone performs and how much they enjoy the game. So while people shouldn't expect themselves to suddenly become a pro. Performance improvements will likely be marginal. But more importantly i'm pretty sure pretty much everyone will enjoy improved connectivity.

My God, I've received two replies for the two tickets I placed into this transfer debacle and both show that the support services can't understand simple english. I'm getting the feeling that the replies are deliberately obtuse. How Wargaming think they can circumvent the Trade Practices act with impunity is very interesting.

How they are also trying to make it sound that some random from the NA group accidently used the word 'merge' instead of 'transfer' and that no one is really at fault in any way, well that's amazing. I have the email clearly stating that we would be eligible for an account merge which would combine all vehicles and provide gold for duplicates. It wasn't a flippant comment but an actual statement on what was going to happen.

Okay, the guy was wrong but I spent money on goods because of that statement. You do not get to falsely advertise a service, take my money and then deny the service whilst keeping my money. Take it up with Wargaming NA and make them pay for the goods, but you are otherwise screwing over paying customers.

Trade practices act doesn’t exist anymore. It was replaced by the Competition and Consumer Act on 1st Jan 2011.  

They don’t seem to have to comply with Australian Law because they aren’t an Australian Company. Hence when you pay for stuff in the premium shop although it’s in AUD you get charged an international transfer fee from the bank because their account is in another country. 

 

So you are pretty much going to get cut and paste responses.
