The T1 was great, but even with all modules unlocked on the M6 it feels woeful. The armour doesn't stop even same-tier guns, even when hull-down since the turret doesn't seem any better than the hull (and the hull's so tall it doesn't hull-down THAT well). So it doesn't feel like a brawler or ridgeline warrior. The final gun does more damage and has great gold pen, but the accuracy feels like absolute trash compared to the T1. I miss so many full aimed mid-range shots that sniping is completely out of the question.

It's almost like you're still playing the T1, only one tier higher. And of course with current MM, you're mostly facing T8s.

So in the current meta, what's the playstyle for this thing? I doubt the grind will be longer than a couple days (I guess I could do it in a day if I wanted to nothing but sit here all day and just do that... bleah), but as short as that is, it'd be nice to know what the hell I'm supposed be doing with this beast.

Oh man, and the T1's accuracy isn't something to write home about.

Skip it and move on to the glorious T29.

Give up and grind up Jumbo instead.

At least Jumbo can use Derp.

Fram needs a session with woolfy's m6.  It's a tier 6. It's where wg teaches you stuff.  Don't rely on armor and load gold if someone else tries to rely on theirs.

Like a heavium. It's a rather mobile HP pool with a 90mm gun attached.

Same, it's more expensive in exp, but Jumbo grind is more enjoyable.

Not saying you haven't done well in it, but those stats seem to suggest you're good at dodging, rather than bouncing?

As for the Jumbo, well, I already went the HT route. Glorious T29 is less than 40k XP away.

I knew that the armour is terrible, so I try not to get into brawls against other HTs

And if I had to eat shots but meant that I could get into a superior fighting position, I would eat the shots and then farm the damage.

M6 is woeful? You're doing it wrong brah

Armor is useless in this server of aimbots and goldrounds, so use the ground and buildings as your armor. M6 has a small turret and the whole turret is weak yet no protruding cupola so I guess it confuses the aimbots and the people using them or something.

The 90mm accuracy is of course going to feel bad compared to a 76mm, but for a 90mm it has one of the unfairly best accuracy. (KV-85's 100mm shown)

Mate, M6 is not a bad tank. Just need situational awareness and try to ridgeline as much as you can. The best would be keeping the flat side armor away from the enemy, u still can bounce some shot with your front armor.

Not saying it's a bad tank! Just that there's no obvious play style for it - that's why I'm asking what I should do!

Gun depression, 2nd line if low tier, consider pretending you are a med.  Top tier use hit points and good 90mm and bully.

Don't ever go through the E2 to the T29.  Getting the 29 with only the 76mm unlocked (and playing it) should be like hitting a Snake in snakes and ladders whereby you slide back to proving grounds and have your account reset.

Salt glorious salt : They can not do what they want with unclearly way.

You don't ridge line block against HTs, you ridge line block against MTs, some TDs and those lower tier HTs without derp guns. If you are expecting to play the M6 like a T29 you are doing it wrong.

In exchange, you get a heavium with pretty crazy mobility and a 90mm gun that with a good blend of dpm and alpha.

There is no obvious way to play any tank that is not a 1 trick pony (I consider T29 a 1 trick pony). M6 is a well rounded heavy, you just need to know where to go and who to avoid. :)

Yes I like PONYS ..... M6 I don't think I played it ..... but the 1s I come up against aren't easy to kill .... Tier for Tier ..... so if bottom Tier hide a lot.  If top do a Ezz and Bully ..... :honoring:

I disagree with your T29 opinion, just because it is hyper strong hull down does not mean it is poor otherwise compared to its tier 7 peers. A one trick pony would be something that is weak when not in its favoured position. The T29 is so good (arguably best HT tier for tier in the game) because it does ok in many situations and when hull down can do well even when not top tier.

M6 is a pretty good, mobile heavium just don’t rely on it bouncing anything, use hard cover and use its gun with decent ish alpha and good pen and it is effective.
