Tank type limit cap would make the game less repetitive, but 252 and Lorr40 sales wont be as good as now. Plus their owner will surely goes ballistic over it. Both are not gud for business.

So you would prefer to have 1 team full of defenders and the other with centurian 1 tanks cause thats (How it is)

 

i wonder who will keep playing such mode for such balanced fun

Small question. On EU when it does the leaderboard in queue for a game. First page is 1-3, second page is 4-6, 7-9

 

On Asia. its 1-3, 7-9, 4-6

 

so effectively 9 -> 1

Why not have an "APAC version". It seems rather ridiculous that WG recognizes that our lower player base causes issues with things but refuses to properly address it because the game must be uniform across servers, I guess? Even though it's not, as evidenced by the other servers already having the Polish tier 2 prem and we don't, or the fact that we have 10v10 advances and other servers have 15v15.

I only get the most prestigious of 3 marks.

The system also DOESN'T work, since 2/3 of our teams tech. Then when we play with 2 teams, both the teams tech. Like.... If you have even amount of clans in the queue, no one should tech, if its odd, one should tech. But 2 teams :waitwhat. System is working as intended.

I love waiting for 15 minutes only to tech. Then doing it again an hour later every night, even during war games. 

 

Only to find out teams like CROWN and ATLUS didn't even get eachother and instead got clans with Elo's often 300+ lower than theirs. MM is on point for Advances.

Because Stronghold system is "part" of the game client, not a separate system, we can tweak some settings (e.g 10v10) but can't risk to change the system for one server only and we can't even sure what would work. And designing a new system for 10% of the global WoT population is also not an option now since dev team is already working on next version of Stronghold.

 

Btw, Polish tier 2 prem is there, and will come very soon.

This is positive news, great stuff.

 

I would suggest a leaderboard system (personal / clan) of some sort very important, a prime motivator for many players.

 

Run the tier8 and tier10 comps separately, not at the same time. I think both tiers are very important, but should not compete against each other particularly with the smaller player base. run one competition, then the other.

 

I like the idea in this thread of personal missions (bonds?) that can be earned playing this mode - based on kills/xp/damage/assist. Promote it well with the larger player base and you will likeley see a surge of players wanting to join a clan. Even if they are in a team that gets beaten most times they play, if they are ticking off personal missions in the process they will be motivated to continue the season.

 

If skill based  MM is a problem - have a multiplier bonus if a team is matched against a strong team. So that a mild defeat by a good team is worth more points that a easy win over a weak clan. So then if you are teamed against a tough team, there is still possibilities to take advantage. On the APAC, make MM completely random.

 

Develop strongholds with a mind for  it completely replacing the global map competition.

It is more player friendly in the sense that you dont have wait around all the time waiting for battles to pop, you dont have to rush/yolo lose battles to avoid tech defeats/

The global map is only of interest to a few players that have any decisions on what is done on the global map anyway.

And it makes it mush easier/attractive/viable to break away and form your own clan, thus greater clan diversity.

 

(And lastly, Defenders are completely overrated, our clan barely uses them, the notion that a team will just run Defenders is plain silly -we run T32s, IS3s VK 100s, Emils, B-C 12t/WZ 132s. Udes, T28 prot, T28s, T44s. The only premium that does not have a comparable tech tree equivalent is the LOr40t, maybe something WG should look into)
