Hi,

I am grinding up the czech mediums. I loved the skoda t25 and am now at the T-34/100. I free xped the top gun and have now unlocked the tracks. I am really struggling with this tank. No camo, no armor, derpy gun and no gun depression.

How do i play this tank? i want to unlock the tvp before patch 1.0.1 so that i can grind it in the frontline mode. any help is appreciated.

Situational tank more than anything, it has decent dpm and alpha and it's heat round is top notch. Use it as a 2nd to 3rd line support tank, flank and pick out opportunities.

I am running food on this as the gun is trolling me and that does help with dpm and other things. Maybe i am not getting into good situations. No problem with the pen, the only problem right now seems to be hitting the target.

The lack of the vert stab is so noticeable at the lower tiers. may drop one of the equipment to mount the enhanced gun laying drive.

My crew is not that good. the commander is female so has BIA, sixth sense and camo training. the other crew are all male and have camo training at ~80%. as soon as it hits 100% i will reset to BIA and then try out snap shot and smooth ride etc.

All are retrained with gold so have 100% major qualification.

I'd take repairs over camo

Yup. I took camo as i thought it would be useful on the lower tiers and the skoda T25. Since i anyway plan to reset soon for BIA, i will let it be presently. will think through the crew skills eventually.

With the skoda t50/ tvp 50/51 in mind what are the skills you recommend?

The tier 8 TVP will make you cry if you don't like the tier 7.

But the tier 9 is worth the pain, so keep at it.

T-34/100 are pretty much like T-34/85 it just have worsen Depression , Play it as second line support tank would be a viable for this tank

The problem is.. at tier 8 you will see a Very Very Different tank than T-34/100 , its huge , easily target by arties , and food nearly for all tank on tier 7 and 8. So yeah you might get hardtime on TVP but not on T-34/100

I expect pain on the tvp vtu. that is why i plan to grind it on the frontline mode. atleast i will be facing all tier 8s and i can respawn so i will not feel totally useless! Hopefully that works out.:)

T34/100 is much much better than tier8 TVP. I almost have given up on this line even though i have maxed TVP. Will only attempt to grind if we get on road evnt for this line.

try Rammer, Vents & Optics equipment. play it as 2nd line support and it excels in platoon. its one of best tier by tier MT because of its good alpha and HEAT rounds. i would suggest you to spend some time here and build crew as TVP is not so good.

I'd highly recommend running full boosters on the tier 8. The tier 7 is playable, almost enjoyable. The boosters will speed up the grind at tier 8 and lessen the pain to an extent.

leverage the advantage you have. the gun.

at tier 7, the 100mm gun with 250 avg dmg is not to be underestimated, similarly to why the T-34-1 is also a decent tank (compared to the T-34-2). and while the T-34-1 has its low profile that makes it good for ambushing, its gun handling is wonky and has barely any gun depression.

stay close to heavy tanks (when bottom tier) and help them either immobilize enemy tanks (the module damage per shot is enough to do so compared to a 76mm), or roll with other medium tanks to bully other medium tanks (when same or top tier)

Thanks for the reply. Yes i think i am getting the hang of it. I am playing it more aggressively when top tier and conservatively when bottom tier.

My ping has been all over the place recently with me facing frequent disconnections, but still managing to do better than my recent in this tank. 40k into the grind, hope i will be able to finish it this week.

You think the T-34-100's gun is derpy, you should try the T-34-1, worse at everything than the T-34-100 except camo.

both have different playstyles. the T-34-1 can leverage its lower profile and reasonably/relatively though turret to be an ambusher or get in someone's face (as a last resort)

the T-34/100 has a more conventional "peek and shoot" style, and doesn't shy away from ridges
