Well the Gamemode is fun so I dont mind, only 2 games so far..... too tired after getting that BT 7 yesterday

 

I make 200-400k per game so far. I've been doing around 8k+ damage each game.

As long as you do good damage you'll get good returns. I used the Cent 5/1, Progetto 46 and the Indien Pzr plus premium time and a 50% credit booster.

 

Tanks with gun depression have a big edge in this mode as it starts off in hilly terrain and often the attacking team can't even get off the beach because of there choice of tanks.

Ok, I have a slight problem..

 

Once I reach the Gun Towers, I can't actually shoot them, it seems to be blocked? 

 

I have removed the safe shot mod, and I run solos mod pack, is anyone else having this problem? 

 

Is there something I need to do, other players can fire at and damage the guns but my gun just won't fire. the tower  is marked red etc.. 

 

This is the second time this has happened?

Having FPS issues, usually run the game (in pubbies, cw etc) at around 80fps on max.

Frontlines im getting around 20-30fps on low settings

Couldn't agree more. Great mode to play, just rolled around in my Cent 5/1 and Lorraine 40t, no pressure, just fun tanking!

 

if I died, just grab the next tank and go again! and made plenty of coin from the few games I got in.

Respawns? Sorry, not interested. We already have HP. Can't stand the Global Ops mode in AW for this same reason.

I guess wg did something nice this time. Really enjoyed the new mode. I hope it stays a little longer. GG wargaming. I don't see a problem with balance issues on attacking and defending. It is just matter of wise positioning around each base. As a matter of fact I win attacking and defending matches in the same rate.

very nice mode, but im on the low end laptop, got only 15 -20 fps lol, and maybe the Attacker is harder than Defender :D

Getting huge fps drops. play randoms at 60 fps. frontlines dropping to 20-25. Sometimes in close quarters even to 15. unplayable. set graphics to low and still getting poor fps. removed all mods and got to check, the ceasefire became active as i removed the mods..

Great mode, love it. Tons of fun for all the reasons listed.

 

One question: Is it intentional that you can't apply camo of any sort to the rental tanks?

Only played two game of FL so far and I found them quite enjoyable and intense.

If I was not trying to grind the IS7 I would be spending much more time playing Fl.

 

Only real issue I have noted so far is that some of the text does not match the tanks (Same as someone else noted a page or two ago).

 

Oh yes, limiting this to Tier 8 is a brilliant move :)

Much better play style at this tier, and great that everyone got a couple of rentals so anyone can give it a go.

Loving Frontline.  The dynamics are fantastic, to the point randoms and "standard" maps seem stale asf. Same choke points, same bushes with td's, same whitewash victories or losses in the first 3 mins. 

Frontline's dynamic flow kills the campness - and it is bliss! I noticed the couple of times defenders overpowered a flank and attackers pushed back to spawn that holding that dominance depended on the enemy's choice of respawn lane.

Plus 60 tanks all the same tier makes me feel like I can actually contribute positively, something that doesn't happen for me in grand battles because my only tier 10 is a damned Maus and the A**hats nerfed it while I was on Mauschen...... now grinding all Russian lines for nerf protection :P

 

Disagree with you about lights sorry Justa. The ability to switch lanes to prevent a push, or make a repair run and return to the fight fast, take a wide run behind enemy and tear them a new one ..... sooo much fun. Progetto is a very comfortable tool (for this shyte-stat player) on Frontlines.

 

Thankyou WG, Frontlines threw out the stale bread and baked me a fresh loaf.

 

I don't want it turned off in a month - implement it as a standard battle mode during peak times every day like sh's please :)

 


The first 9000 were a struggle ... I have fun now.

Try it before you deny it. Uber-dynamic gameplay replaces "same as the last 10k battles". Gave me a semi for the game again, was becoming very stale playing 80% games at bottom tier, same choke points, same camping, same spotting .... bleh.

I guess it might be a bit much for damage farming campers. Damned corridors and flanks keep changing........ but don't worry blue and purple farmers, your winrate etc isn't affected by the new not-static meta :P

Really enjoyed the one game I played on the ANZ server last night. We were the attacking team and rolled the defence team in a hard fought battle.

 

Luckily we had 1/2 dozen tanks who stayed together and cooperated, so once one flank was secured the rest just followed.

 

I used WZ131 first up and followed with IS3 and then the Emil. Faster tanks definitely have an advantage in this mode due to the map size, especially later in the game.

 

Hope this mode stays around after the current season, even if only limited to prime time or weekends.

Ok, sounds like a good answer if only I knew where this setting was?  I de-installed all my mods and I can hit the turrets, simply de-installing 'safe shot' didn't help. 

 

Can you elaborate please :)

GTX 1060 6GB and i5-6600 starts the battle with 130 fps

 

But drops to 50 fps after a certain trigger... and stays 50 fps for the rest of the match

 

CPU and GPU usage shows no bottleneck

I meant safe shot ...... try Aslain's - legal and I shoot turrets :P
