The philosophy behind the post is a good one - regardless of the nit-picking from little ivory towers.

KraftLawrence - "Don’t be that guy camping and doing nothing while your team dies on another flank – then farm 3k damage and complain your team sucks. That guy is the worst."

A single platoon that will extremely rarely occur stopped you from playing World of Tanks in general? Wow. Hate to think what happens when you meet a single sealclubber or a single overpowered tank in a regular battle.

Defender isn't really the overpowered tank people make it out to be really, and the Lorraine 40 t is just a garden variety autoloader with basically no armour that it doesn't matter much. The only thing it has is being able to keep distance, which you can't do in the current city map meta. 252U can admittedly be a bit annoying though.

Yes. the Defender and the 252U are very different.......

Wait, do you genuinely believe that the VK 45.03 is an overpowered tank?

Are we talking about the same tank here? The tier 7 Heavy tank with no armor, is slow and has average DPM but shit alpha damage?

IS's, T29's, Tiger I's, hell even the AMX M4 1945 shits on it.

3 M.O.E Tanks: E-100, Panzer VII, Leopard 1,  E-75, Leopard PT A, Type 61, Tiger II, VK 45.02A, Indien Panzer, IS-3, STA-1, T-34-2, Type 59, Tiger P, Jagdpanther, StuG III G.

It would take a very particular set of circumstances for the M4/45 to shit on the VK45.03... (105 with full gold loadout in close-mid range and lots of meatshields comes to mind). Both sides will pen each other with pen to spare too...

The VK45.03 handles its gun like a med, but the key weakness is its soft turret and lack of rof.

Yep, pretty much.

Ive barely played WoT in months, mainly due to the direction they went with premiums.  I don't own any of the "new generation" prems and refuse to be tempted/blackmailed into buying them.

Frontline looks like a genuinely fun mode but spending the whole game as an HP/credit piñata for a group of wallet warriors quickly sucks the fun out of it.

Take a T-44 variant in and you'll be fine. I often use my T-44-100, doesn't have an issue dealing with Defenders or other OP tanks with it's great mobility and the flanking options frontline provides.

FL is viable for tech tree tanks now. Less gold is spammed so you can actually bounce things.

Yeah, I'm definitely seeing more tech tree tanks, as people realize it's actually a pretty good way to grind tech tree T8s. HEAPS better than doing so in randoms!

LT-playing masochist. It's too much fun to be a mosquito.

I seldom see a good T-44 player but when a good T44 player finally shows up, they are really good.
