Bridges are scary, fell off a few in Frontlines but was having a normal map today and something made me wonder. My ping was fine, no lag spikes but as I tried to cross a narrow bridge, wobbles.

Is there maybe an issue with the physics? Sure seems fine driving to bridges flat out and without wobbles. Or are wobbles built into the game?

Oh, I guess the same can be said for roads above falls/cliffs.

It's ok, even good players fall off bridges. Some during competitive battles...

Depends on the weight of the tanks, the ground resistances and what equipment you use. Using enhanced suspension equipment will help you avoid the wobble. i generally remove vert stab/ rammer to mount the suspension because what use is a good gun if you fall of the bridge and die. this along with binocs and camo net is the perfect equipment setup.

Some people just do not drive through the bridges and drive through the water. But what kind of savage does that? i mean that is not how it is supposed to be done. And there is a 25% rng chance of your tank sinking into the water. i have seen it happen on the glacier map and you can google it if you do not believe me.

The weight of the tank plays a major part in this. Tank in tier6 begin feeling these issues when there are any discrepancies in the physics and ground resistance settings. As you go up the tiers the effect gets worse.

Tier4 is probably the best tier in this regard - tanks are (relatively) light weight and so don't suffer from these problems. The speed of the AMX40 also gives it further assistance in managing these sorts of issues.

Tier 4 is probably the best tier in every regard actually.

And does the road surface matter?

Tank type seems important though, I feel that glorious proletariat hovermeds are less prone to wobble than capitalist American tanks.

Well I'd assume you'd get bogged down a bit off road hence better traction and less speed. All hard surfaces I'd thought to be the same, maybe not though.

I'm surprised hopey didn't report that personal attack . Oh wait,  that WAS hopey. OK disregard.

So has anyone worked out why hopey keeps falling off bridges?

statistically alcohol is one of the largest contributors to accidents.

I know my bridge falls tend to be alcohol related. Hopey is that something you factored in? Maybe that's what was causing the wobbles.
