When I saw front page in that forums, Filipino language is now in Enclave language subforums with Thai, Malaya, and Indon.

Guys, ano pangyari na dyan sa forums? Salamat. 07

Added in one of the recent forum changes. No idea why.

Yeah I don't know why they did that. Not complaining, just wondering.

It's funny that despite being a 'Filipino' enclave, everyone is speaking English!

Bakit walang gusto mag Tagalog o Bisaya o anuman salitang Pilipino? Yung mga ibang enclaves, puro sariling salita nila ang gamit.

Why do I still play this game?

As I mentioned in the previous Filipino subforum, I can't speak for everyone pero pwede naman ako mag Tagalog kung kailangan, specially if the conversation was initiated strictly in Tagalog and it's a 1-on-1 conversation. I'm just more comfortable with English and I express myself better with it.

Also, I personally don't see English as a foreign language as it's one of two official languages of the country and it's very much present all around me. Go outside and you'll see signs like "no parking," "don't block the driveway," and "house and lot for sale," which I'm sure aren't there just for the benefit of foreigners. The President himself addresses his constituents with a mixture of Tagalog and English. When was the last time you watched a Marvel Universe film with Tagalog subtitles? Contrast all of that with neighboring countries like Japan and South Korea where English truly is foreign.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but I see an enclave as being defined by the group of people that comprise it, not just the language they speak. You may be more fluent in the language/dialect you grew up with, be it English, Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Bicolano, etc., but we're all Pinoy here.

Restructuring. Di malakas ang tanks sa pinas, siguro di sila kumikita dito kaya wala nang community events?

Oh that's hardly drama. I haven't started quoting Madam Miriam Defensor Santiago yet. :D
