When looking at the KV-1S on tanks.gg, changing between the 2 turrets but using the same 85mm gun change my aiming time, rate of fire and reload time.  I understand that my hp, view range, armor and weight will change but why are the gun stats changing?

Is this a real thing or is this a bug?

NOTE: I have not been able to test if this is doing the same thing within the game client as I don't have the xp to research it yet.

You are switching between the stock and the upgraded turret. The upgrade turret increases the armour thickness, hitpoints, view range, damage per minute and the gun handling of the tank.

Well thanks for the clarification

Yeah, and this was an actual thing in tank history.

If you look at the T-34's development history. The first few batches of T-34/76s were built with a 2-man turret, then as the 85mm gun was adopted a new 3-man turret was also developed to accommodate a loader and free up the commander to actually do his job.

'Cultural' exchange between German and soviet tanks design during WW2 can be seen in 3 man turret. While German copy soviet sloped armor.

They are rage, brutal without mercy. But you, you will be worse. Rip and tear until it is done.

Nobody copied this tho. It would have been very successful if it had 150mm armor all-around.

I propose this be the next opponent in the next PVE event.
