So what is the status of situation now?

Since my beta test days till now I hardly post a thing here, but the gaming experience is so bad that it actually motivated me to make a comment here, now that's bad.

Before Asia server I was gaming on the NA server from Vietnam with a ADSL connection. Never had I met such bad playing experience. WOT is not the only game I play and I never have such poor gaming experiences with the other games' servers.

Yes, there are technical glitches which I believe most players are willing to forgive. When the WOT server moved everyone was patient enough. We waited for things to be solved. It's not easy.

But hey guys, it's almost a month now and the solution is no where in sight. It gave me the impression that the tech team has got no idea what went wrong, and they are randomly doing trial and error troubleshooting hoping to strike a quick-fix jackpot.

There's a lack of accountability here. In corporate, whenever my company has a problem and me and my team is called in, the management/customers will always want to know by WHEN we can conclude our investigation, WHEN can we provide a solution, and if we cannot resolve the problem within our estimation HOW MUCH MORE TIME do we need. This is basic accountability. My team will be accountable for estimating the time required to fix the problem. I am accountable for my team's KPI towards the management or the customers. That is what the company pays me for.

What we are witnessing here is an open-ended dateline. We need to be told a specific time WHEN the problem is likely to be solved. And if by then it cannot be solved, another milestone be cast and the players/customers will be informed about it. You may missed your milestone 10 times, but no one will blame you. It only shows the magnitude of the problem or the lack of resources or expertise to address a difficult problem.

But having no concrete dateline is the failure of the manager here. It just shows the complete disrespect of the players/customers and an utter lack of accountability of the manager.

So come on guys, what exactly went wrong here? How long more do you need? We will wait, we are all hardcore WOT fans and we are not going anywhere. But some news or answers will be gladly appreciated. If it is beyond your control ie ISP refuse to help, then bite the bullet, eat humble pie, roll it back to Singapore. You will get praises I promise you. Don't fix a problem that never existed.

What if it actually isn't in Hong Kong

Ping from SG has dropped back to pre-migration levels

What if it is in the other Hong Kong?

Little known trivia: Singapore is a country where two versions of the country exist and overlap in the same spacetime. There is a version of Singapore that the rich people live in, and a version in which the peasants live. An interdimensional rift covers most of the country and allows both populations to seamlessly interact (There are some areas which are only accessible to one of the population e.g. Army camps, and casino).

This overlapping and coexist of two countries is also why sometimes Singaporeans have ping of 100ms within the island. The rift allows humans to warp through spacetime, but internet signals must go through designated cabling.

Now, two versions of HK are known to exist to Singaporeans: One where people are rich, and one where people cannot afford the housing and hence we should be grateful to our government. If there is no internet connection between them, traffic will need to be routed from HK (A) to Singapore, through the rift and to HK (B), which would explain your ping.

Well, I tried again after a couple of weeks  off, but it's still the same.  2 unplayable servers due to packet loss.  It seems that this is the way it is now, so now it has come to a point where I have to except that it's time to take a break and hope things change in the future.  Good luck.

Tonight was completely unplayable. Tanks were teleporting. And ended up being target practice.

Latency was very good usually around 50ms. But it was the packet loss that killed the game for me.

If latency is good, it has nothing to do with routing. Packet loss usually means under par or substandard equipment, ie congestion and the router cannot handle the traffic, or improper load balancing configuration.

Come on guys, I wasted 1 month of premium already.

It's all I've seen since the move.  Now I just play the test server.  250 ping with no issues compared to the jerky mess on  HK (120 ping)
