Question about the Swedish Leo (T7 Medium). I'm currently running Vents, Optics and Rammer on it as I do with most mediums that can't mount a V Stab. Really finding the slow aim time a drag on the 105mm gun, enough that I am thinking of remounting the 75mm or switching out the Optics for a GLD. Any thoughts?

I used your set up but just got used to it. Basically used it either in a bush where i could aim from camo or in a more peaky role where i wouldn't bother aiming much.

Don't use the 105mm. Other than alpha damage there really isn't much going for it. Better off with the 75mm

Hate the game, not the player

I used the 75mm. The better gun stats made it a lot more enjoyable to play.

I switched between the 2 guns a few times. 75mm makes the Leo play like a Comet, while the 105 makes it like the T-34/100. QB provides an analysis of the 75mm/105mm gun choice, linked below. I personally prefer the 75mm because the 105 is unwieldy (take GLD if you go with the 105).

I prefer the 105, people respect 300 alpha a lot more than 150. Drop the vents for GLD.

I only get the most prestigious of 3 marks.

Okay thanks folks. Still got 70K of the grind to go so I think I will give it a bit long as and see if I can make it work. If not then I'll mix it up a nit

105 with Vents EGLD and Optics / Rammer (maximize gun handling first, then choose for a DPM-y route or be a braver spotter; it seems that Leo 105 without Rammer gives you a reload time that's just about as long as your not-spotted-anymore fadeaway time so you can be a sneaky peekaboo tank that can spot targets for itself without hurting your effective DPM much)

or

75 with Rammer Vents Optics.

Kept it as is. Starting to get the hang of it But still a ways to go yet. I consider this an encouraging sign though.

Leo w/ 75mm is my preference, I prefer the consistency and reliability of the 75mm gun over the derpy 105mm gun any day. I'm not opposed to using the 105mm gun if i'm bored, but i do return to the pew pew gun eventually.

Stock grind was kinda tough. Struggled a bit with the 75mm, dun get any respect.

I had it in the garage for some time, only doing X2s every now and then slowing chipping away at the XP requirements, unlocking a module every few months.

Fully upgraded with the 105mm gun, it suddenly became very fun to play.

Speed was great, Alpha was great, love it!

Just needed to stay safe and pounce on enemy meds when they dun expect it.

After the first hit, the HP advantage becomes favourable, hit em a 2nd time, they are close to 1 shot.

If they dun chicken out first, you can go in for the kill.

Since the On track event was on last week, I decided to grind out the Emil I.

I was actually surprised how easy it was and I breezed thru 60k xp in just a few days (w boosters)

Now that I got the Emil, feels sad that I won't be needing to play the Leo anymore....

kinda wish I had more XP to grind :P

This is one of those rare tanks where either gun is viable. It comes down to what suits your playstyle entirely. I liked both for different reasons, but both are completely playable.

You may want to hang on to that Leo since the Swedish medium tank line is on the horizon. More than likely it'll start from that tank.

So I just unlocked the Leo last night - what was the consensus in the end:

75mm go with: rammer vent optics

105 go with: rammer gld optics ?

I dunno, I have the 105 and rammer, optics, vents (I think), and I have a 70% WR in mine. Now it's sitting with about 100k XP on it waiting for the mediums to be released.

I actually went GLD, Optics, vents with the 105 and did ok. Dpm is overrated in a tank like this, maxxing RoF with a rammer  is primarily useful when brawling and this tank does not have the armour or HP to brawl until maybe mop up phase at the end of the match.

I just got my 2nd MoE on the Leo using the 105. Ran Rammer, Vents and Binos (because 85% crew)

I'm not good at this game, its just that the rest of the server sucks~
