Sometimes in open maps I found out that my crosshair was slightly below where I was aiming.

I didnt use any mods and this bothered me quite often especially in Fisherman bay when I was in the city trying to shoot tanks on the hill.

Why though?

You mean, you aim at the tank, but the gun aim sight goes above it?

When aimming at enemy tanks it works properly

but when there is no tanks there it drops below the ridge line

it bothers me because sometimes I want to blind shoot then it goes to the ground

That circle show where the shell will 'drop' if you fire a shot there. Since no target behind your aim, just sky, that circle actually showing where the shell will land on the sky behind it, not the ridge. Dont worry, just fire that blind shot, you'll see your shot will not hit the ridge. Unless rng wanna [edited] you really bad :D

I'm amazed he even added the periscopes on the KV-2's turret. Such precision MS Paint job.

It's aiming at the ridge or the sky box. When it aims at the sky box it throws the shell high and at the ridge it will usually drop it short. Moving tanks on ridges can be very hard to lead and hit.

Blind shooting invisible tanks is hard.

Blind shooting invisible tanks at the ridge is almost impossible.

:B Love-Hate game. Nice guys finish last.
