Hi, regarding the soundtrack in the portal:

Just wondering whether the developers can add the Province and Klondike soundtrack (Intro and Battle) into that section since they updated recently by adding the Minsk, Pilsen and Studzianki soundtrack but forgotten those two mention earlier.

Mmmmmmm. They can track when you get hit and record damage, bounced and critical hits.

 

I do have a bit of grey, but it strikes me as strange that they can do all that and not somehow link the sound to those events.....

 

I could be missing something.

My partial recollections from last night.

 

Minsk is a total camp fest along the central ridge. Was great (I completed the bounce 40 times mission in 4 games - getting the secondary by surviving 5 times was very challenging given my state...) but pretty frustrating after that. Seems to be a face off where everyone bounces until one side gets impatient and pushes then loses. The central area of the map seems to be a total no-go zone with anyone venturing there getting wiped out from all sides.

 

Pilsen seems a lot better with quite a few corridors to sneak about. I think it kind of gives something for all tank classes which is good. More maps like this will give most classes an active part in the battle which is great.

 

The other new one I only had once, cant really comment but it seems to have a lot of flat open space which cannot be used. I was in a heavium so could relocate but it seems like a bit of a dicey one for a slower HT. 

 

Missions are good and certainly raised my interest in the game again. Having to play on the HK server bashed a fair bit of that out of me though due to trying to get TX games. Under 1100 on ANZ its good luck with that. 240+ ping is really shite. Any sort of longer range shot is very challenging and getting autolock even on close tanks is extremely iffy.

 

I like the ability to do missions with different classes, though I think that the need to play arty to complete them will frustrate the hell out of some players. The secondary interaction seems a bit peculiar. On Union-4 I had 5 bounces showing in game (and in the after match report), survived and got 11 bounces credited for the primary part of the mission.

If you think about it, keeping that bug wont do WG any good. They know about it for sure, the only possible reason why they dont fix it yet is they cant... Maybe they just lazy, but I prefer that WG have no idea how to fix it.

For those getting the hit sound issue, please ​follow this link to the technical section. 

 

HQ wants data, they can't use "15 people are having this issue." What we can give them is "15 people are having this issue, here are their logs, and videos, and other evidence, now go fix it."

Was platooning with my mate this afternoon, He got three kills in his IS3, and the kills wasn't shown next to his icon.

Never experienced such bug before, nice patch 10/10

Polish low tiers are mediocre beyond mediocrity

 

They are not unworkably broken or anything, but they are just mediocre and mediocre

 

Take the tier 4 for example...

BTW which patch removed the preferential MM that guarantees the first battle in a new tank will always be top tier?

 

Started my first tier 4 game, 357MM bottom tier, naturally.

Pretty much 3-5-7 time it changed.

 

The tier 3 is okay.
