Taken off the webpage "The AC 4 Experimental is a Tier VI British Premium medium that has above average speed and HP. It deals damage well, but takes time to reload, so calculate your moves carefully. The "AC" in its name stands for "Australian Cruiser". As its name suggests, it was built for speed to get to key locations quickly. For this tank, speed is armour. Utilize your driving skills to avoid damage."

This tank needs to have speed increased. At a maximum of 40kms and very slow to get upto that (a lot of Heavy tanks are faster) this tank needs some changes. Perhaps to something just under the Cromwell for instance??

Seen how fast it goes downhill though?

Balances the shit speed going uphill.

Yeah, the max speed is indeed high, but the power/weight ratio is terrible. You're only likely to hit it when you can launch yourself downhill, and getting up into such a position is going to take some time.

Running high octane gas and training off-road driving helps a bit, but realistically you should be playing it more like a Firefly than a Cromwell.

It was a cruiser at the time - because the AC4 sentinel could do 48 kph, which was fast compared to other tanks.
Compare that to early Sherman (35 kph), Lee Grant (42kph) and Matilda (26 kph).....and 48 kph is really fast.

But yeah, the AC4 is essentially a Firefly - putting a 17pounder gun on a Sherman body.

I've had one in the garage for ages, from when they gave them away a while back. The abysmally low effective PtW is pretty much the main reason I've never played it.

LT-playing masochist. It's too much fun to be a mosquito.

I have one and quite like it, a p/w buff would make it more competitive though as it is quite sluggish.
