Hi guys,

 

The new feature of Stronghold is online and ready!!

The system went through a CT session on the RU server, initial feedback is positive, but there are also some minor bug and teething issues waiting to be solved, here's some of the main issues:
 

1. Possible long waiting/queuing time

2. There’s no visibility of who you will get/which clan you will play with from the matching.

3. A few cases that players might stuck in queue if not able to get a match.

4. Need-polishing UI.

 

While dev team is working on solving known issues, feel free to share your feedback about the auto-matching system here.
If you encounter any technical issue, please do send a ticket to Support as well.

It's tier 8's that meet tier 10s weSmart

As much as I like SH's i have not played in a while because no one plays them. When i first started with my clan, SH's were a necessary tool for us to continue in Clan Wars. This meant that for a lot of our junior members, they could earn valuable resources for the clan even if they did not have a tier 10 or tier 8 tank. This, of course, was also the case for other clans. It was also a comfortable time for a lot of people to play them, as the Clan Wars were on so late, we could be valuable members to our clan through SH's.

This new MM for SH's is pointless. No one is there to play, because there is no benefit to playing them, and its been like that since you changed the rules for the two games. I feel that if you bought back the importance of playing SH's to advance you Clan War potential, people would be playing it, and you would also have more people playing as it would be more fun for those that don't get to play with their Clan mates.I would like to remind you that during these style of battles Gold rounds are mostly used and people spend money.

I tried to play a game the other day as a Legionnaire, and there was 3 teams, each with only a few players in the sides, no clans at all!! So your right when you say queue times may be long, as no one is playing it at all.

Just a thought...

If they linked sh to cw you'd probably see cw die even quicker.

please do not go down the road of linking SH to CW again....changes CW from hobby to job

If that's such an issue better just to get rid of strongholds i guess. Only thing is what about recruiting?? Its a good way of teaching younger and newer members for CW. You thoughts? I mean its a game after all but if you play it with dedication then ofc its a job :) But your right. Its dead already so may as well can it.

I think we are more likely to lose the Global Map than strongholds - unless there are some drastic changes I cannot see CW (Global Map) surviving into 2019, at least at Tier Ten in the early time zones. The next step may be to do what was discussed a year or so ago and close the map, and invest WG's resources into expanding Strongholds, including at Tier 10.

Not my desire but certainly looks the business smart choice to me.

If thats the case there needs to be some method of ensuring enough clans are in que for the (allegedly) skill based MM to work....

or else the larger more active better clans will flood the mode, and the lesser/newer clans sending in their first teams(dipping their toes into the mode) will end up facing top 10 clans in 60-80% of their batttles...which is the way Skirms have rolled since their inception....
