Hello Commanders,

We've gotten reports from the past week that players are having difficulty getting the new maps. We would like to know how your map rotation is going.
Is it stacking the same map all the time? Which map is are you always getting in a row and what battle mode is it? Please also share what tiers you are getting those maps all the time.

Yes, we can get the statistics, but that's easy. What I want is for you to share your personal experience with us.

Thank you so much!

You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Guess which one I am.

Been getting them without any issues Conan.

I only have standard battle type ticked and tiers 8 - X.

Played on both ANZ and HK server and have gotten all the maps.

Pretty much the same as Puggs but I have been running 3 through 9 (plus 1 and 2 form the initial Polish steps) on a variety of accounts. Only repeats or close to repeats is alot of Abbey but that might be the nature of lower tiers. I have often got it on the next higher tier game I play.

New are showing up about as frequently as any of the old. And while they are pretty big, they basically have contributed a few more corridor maps to the rotation. Maybe bump up the open map frequency to compensate.

Studmuffinzianki is pretty un-corridor-y, I find. Not as flexible as Prok, but definitely a long-range vision control map.

I've found must pubbies have already learned the go and no go areas so that empty space pretty much stays empty. I guess it basically feels like win the west corridor, then flank to the west, or win the centre then flank east. Haven't seen a team win east yet (i think it's east at least - the side with a mound in the middle on the edge of the map) as it seems pretty easy to defend from anyone pushing.

Havent got Studianzki yet. got minsk twice (and feel that i should not get it again), pilsen twice. map rotation is off. i am getting malinovka and murovanka more often. havent seen prokorovka since the on track to the T-10 began (not that i am complaining). All other maps i am getting quite often in the map rotation.

Hope it helps.

PS: Please do not increase the probability of getting prokorovka! :hiding:

I really dread rotating to Minsk, as it ALWAYS crashes my game, over and over.

It is unplayable and I can't use the client until the battle is finished and I am in the garage.

Only Minsk? Might be a corrupted file.

Tried running an integrity check for the client?

There are some daring moves you can make, but yeah, that's the basics. East is way too vulnerable to arty or other long range cover fire, so it's a little like the 2 line on Prok - players go there because it looks tempting, but it's just a stalemate that's lethal to anyone who gets spotted.

So have they improved map rotation in general?

By definition, having more maps improves the variety in rotation.

Guaranteed in the first few games in any tank :  Abbey, Ensk, Himmesdorf, Paris and Ruinberg.

Likely : Sand River, El Halluf, Paris, Glacier, Laveville, Fjords, Serene Coast, Fisherman's Bay.

Rare : Provence, "ovka's", Minsk, Redshire, Studz, anything I missed.

Literally Abbey and Ensk feature way too often.

The first 9000 were a struggle ... I have fun now.

It seems to me that there is nothing terribly wrong with our map rotation. It does have it's hiccups, but not as strongly as suggested by other regions.
Player perception is in line or close to the statistical data.

Thank you.

Maps though .......

Suggestion : make huge maps and give each battle a randomised section (say 1200x1200m) ;

Or : random terrain and object generation each battle

This way we never really get to "know" the map.

The corridor meta disappears.

Less boredom.

The only problem with that is that pubbies would be clueless. You get quite a few who are still clueless on the maps they've played thousands of battles on. Can you imagine how useless they'd be on a new map?

I get them all regularly at average tier 9, can't remember getting them when I play lower tiers though, but that's rare

Getting Mines, Cliffs, and Paris quite frequently. I've only seen Minsk once so far, and just saw the new Poland map for the first time today.

I'd say the maps are so repeatable for me... I think I always get in Ensk, Himmelsdorf, Paris as my most frequent maps played on. Its like 6 out of 8 battles I play in there.
