Does anyone else get issues loading the game? It freezes for about 15 seconds or so, and it's the same when opening replays. It could be my mods, but not sure right now. Will check in a bit with safe mode.

New map looks good. Lots of elevation changes. And a decent size.

Well, it turns out it's actually the mods causing the weird freezing issue. From the modpack creator's forum (Aslain) it looks like other people are having far worse issues atm.

Yeah, still very corridor. Seems a lot larger than any other map, so the corridor effect doesn't seem as constricting and the lanes are a reasonable size and not featureless flat channels of death.

 

Also comes up as an assault mode map too.

On the subject of load times, I fidn mine are actually much improved! So far no more loading in with 5 seconds to go - or 5 seconds after the match started - I'm reliably in before the 20 second mark now.

Mayhaps. But behold, the KV-5...

 

 

It's a temporary thing though. Everyone's testing out their pref-MM tanks, and no one noticed that WG buffed the radioman's coffin to 170mm and commander's cupola to 190mm. Their (buffed) 122mm guns only hit for 186 pen, same as mine. Except...they Alpines didn't get an armor buff. Only happy Russkie tanks get armor (FYI, I can't pen the enemy IS-6 with 186 pen either).

 

Btw, 4420 damage blocked by the R2D2 and commander's cupola; it was a good day.

The pen was crap before, so I already had plenty of HEAT on hand anyway. Press 2 for skill, baby (or in my case, NumPad 8).

Yeah, I was surprised at how better the KV-5 is at blocking shot now. 

You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Guess which one I am.

First time to see Empire's Border. First time to play the KV-2... bottom tier of course, because what else is there?

TL;DR the camo menu is better now, the old problems with camo not demounting properly is fixed, the other camo problem with no warnings for locky-camo is fixed.

 

Only problem I have now is that my locky-camo is locked into tanks I would never want to keep in my garage (it's an arty, and a mediocre arty at that, the M12), but asking for unlocking these locky-camo is stretching it no?

Anyone else notice a sharp drop in support-type tanks effectiveness after 1.2? (Scouts, some MTs)

 

My tier 6 are getting around 40% winrate for 100 battles.

40% winrate would be nice, I think I'm getting 30% in spgs trying to complete campaign missions.

 

Which brings me to the point, why do killing shots with an spg not count towards stuns for missions ?

 

Bloc campaign mission 6. Primary is to kill tanks, secondary is to stun 8 tanks in a game. However, if you kill a tank you don't get the stun...

How can you stun something that is deceased?

No, but there has been a significant drop in overall player skill ever since the T-34S event, and it has never recovered.
