30k XP away from CGC...

Defenders make for good food as there are definitely some DUMB ones out there at the moment who bought the "I am INWINCIBLE!" hype a liiiittle too hard. Nom nom nom

Geez, I'm still waiting for a discount to buy the FV207, since I don't like the idea of buying something like an arty at full price, especially a British one. God those British tanks suck, at least the recent tanks I've played certainly do (Crusader, Crusader SP, Archer).

FV207 is even worse. Good luck with that.

But in the end, it's all worth it for the CGC.

RIP Aufklärungspanzer Panther 16th July 2015. You will be missed, friend.

FV207 and FV3805 are fine. Aced 'em both and didn't really have any problems with their performance.

Other arty are better tier for tier, yes, but they still do the all-important job of being a clicker [edited] just fine.

FV207 sucks. Boring slow weak thing that just happens to be good enough to be just above "fun trash" and thus interesting, like the Churchill GC. The tier 7's are more fun than it.

CGC loves Defenders.

This one tried to be arty safe.

Half the time a 207 won't even hit Defenders, let alone pen one.

I swear you guys must have played an entirely different tank.

Fast shell speed (low arc compensation), quick to aim, accurate. It had it's good points and I used them.

FV207 with the bigger gun?

The smallish gun on the FV207 (Crusader SP's top gun) does have really low shell arcs (can shoot below bridges in some maps), but is compensated for by being unable to hit a tank behind a gentle slope, much less cover.

Yeah, the small gun sucks on the FV. Damage isn't even close to enough for a T8 SPG. I free-XP'd past it.

WTH they must have got too greedy on the price, I am lucky to see a Defender or 252 once every 3 games. That's a lot of creds going down the drain on gold rounds that are not seeing defenders :(

Occasionally you hit the jackpot and find 3 on the enemy team.

YUM.

I had the misfortune of playing a T8 game with a platoon of 2 Defenders as our top tier. They both did 0 damage.

That was something else, I gotta say.

They had pretty clearly bought the brochure claim of the defender's invincibility, since that was the third battle in the tank and their third loss. Oh and for extra sauce, one of the two was clearly a reroll as the Defender was his only tank.

I guess that's the WG balancing mechanism at work.
