I am currently on the is3 for the is7 and on the type t34 for the wz.

which one should I go down?

ps I would go down the polish line if the tier five and six tanks were decent.

IS-7 is very easy to play, a great beginners tank. However, the WZ 5A is so much more fun to play if you are good enough but will punish your mistakes a lot more as it has weaker armour and modules.

For you, I'd say the IS-7 as you are still new to the game.

Once you get better though, you will appreciate the WZ 5A much more as it has better mobility, fantastic DPM, good gun depression, and better gun penetration... while still having decent armour. IMO the 5A looks better too.

I have played both the IS-7 and 5A extensively and overall I would choose the 5A instead of the IS-7 in almost any situation because it has a lot higher potential for damage output if you know what you're doing and it is much more flexible.

No point playing the IS-7.

Apart from the side-scarping potential plus arguably a little mobility, 5A is just a better tank, hands down

5A is only better in skilled hands. With a bad/inexperienced player, a 5A is 100% useless compared to an IS-7 because the driver would be dead within the first few minutes of the battle due to how much more punishing it is to misplays.

I'd much rather see a 45% player in an IS-7 than in a 5A, but I am much more worried about a good player in a 5A than an IS-7.

So where does the 277 fit into this comparison?

Between the idiot-proofness of the IS-7 and the punishing-of-bad-plays nature of the 5A.

But in general, on the battlefield, there are a lot more players with a not-so-good win rate driving an IS-7 than a 5A:facepalm:

Imagine how bad it would be if they were all driving the 5A.

Just use that vbaddit whatever winrate curve to see which is better. Since both IS7 and 5A are not special case like 907 that not available to skrub, IS7 will have bit high win% due to avrg and below will perform worse in 5A.

Seeing how your recent stats are right now, you might struggle a bit with the 5A. Don't let that stop you though, just be prepared to get rekt and keep improving... then when you are more experienced you'll probably be glad you took the 5A over the IS-7.

I ground out both but I hardly play tier X cos I can't afford to. lol.

Grinding wise, T10 was harder somehow compared to wz 111 1/4 at tier 9 cos I liked the big gun on the wz.

at tier 8 I guess IS3 is everybody's favourite, but I kinda liked the 110 hard top but can deal with the poor depression.

by all means go for either one but get good cos tier 9 and above bleeds your credits dry.
