As we that are left grow old.

11th Nov marks the end of the "Great War', the "war to end all wars". Ironic perhaps for us in the future, as barely a generation passed before the world was dragged screaming into another war that surpassed it.

A key part of why we do not suffer a third such war is by remembering what we suffered through as a species. Without grandeur, without deceit, with clear-eyed appreciation of the whys and wherefores we must remember how this chain of events came to be. And a big part of that remembrance comes from the recordings and archival knowledge from the time.

Lest we forget.

1940- In 2018, we will have flying cars.

Just saw this over on the NA forums a couple hours back, thought I'd drop it here too, in case no one's seen it, but'd be interested.

Saw a video of this on Youtube, where the guy colorized all the Black and white WW films that he could get.

TX - T57 HT, 113, WZ 111 5A (sadly, yes that's all I have. For now)
