I recently got both the Churchill III and the KV-220-2 as bonuses. Figure I don't need both (hell, I barely even need ONE, since I almost never play T5 anymore, but I guess I could use it to grind a new Russian crew up to 6th sense/1st skill if I ever need ANOTHER Russian crew) so I'll just sell one. Both have the same 5-slot crew arrangement and IIRC they both have pref MM?

I assume the Churchill III, while a strong T5 tank, is the less clubby option? Seems like way more players have trouble fighting the KV-220, plus it's rarer - so keep that one?

KV-220. Slightly better turret armor, and can't be permatracked-with-damage frontally (a major weakness of the Churchills in-game).

Church is useless now that everybody can pen your turret

Noobs don't snipe because they are good at snipe; noobs snipe because they can't do anything else / People don't lose because they lemming; people lemming because they are losers

Do not confuse team strength with individual strength; a single enemy killed in a 1v3 is worth more than two enemies killed in a 4v2 / Lanchester's Square Law predicts in a 2v1, the side with 2 will end with 1.5 tanks remaining, so if you won with less than that remaining, you're actually noob, not pro

When you are not losing because you outnumber the enemy, your other flank is losing because they are outnumbered; it's just math

Law of mirror: When you are holding a 1v6 against the enemy, you own team is also getting 6v1 held by the enemy

Noob self-balancing theory: When you release a good tank, enough noobs will flood to play it, until the server stats become average again

I keep both despite not using them for close on 2 years. Gotta keep my garage full of shiny tanks, ya'know.

Ugh, I hate scrolling through the damn carousel. I wish there were better organization options.

Filters. Use them.

You can also hide tanks and set as primary.

I do both already. Still too much scrolling. And I only have 60 tanks!

the filters are too basic; i’d like the ability to group my tanks into various ‘sets’ that match a mood or whatnot ie ‘it’s clobberin’ time’ would be my collection of derpy monsters; ‘run ‘n’ gun’ would my fast dakka-dakka tanks etc etc

yeah, more groupings is severely lacking. The fact that we can't organize by tier is just ridiculous. Sure, you can filter by tier, but having the carousel default to nation and THEN tier is just stupid. Should be the other way around.

I also wish I could hide tanks, or add a "tertiary" tag (i.e. like a reverse "primary" for seldom played tanks).

There are already 3 levels with primary normal and reserve.

Wait, what reserve option? When you left click on a tank in the carousel, it doesn't show anything like that. nor does it have that in the filters.

There USED to be something like that (can't remember the name), which would hide selected tanks unless you chose to view hidden ones, but that function was removed ages ago, when they moved to the current carousel system. I miss that feature a lot.

KV-220-2 is kind of funny.

I'm averaging close to 2k blocked PER GAME (way more if you include failed HE boofs), yet am currently at a 25% Win Rate.

One game I blocked something like 4k, during an agonizingly slow and unsupported crawl over 3/5ths of the entire map, back to spawn across open terrain to reset cap. I was being shot at by something like 6-7 tanks, none of which I could see at any point. Amazingly I lived to pull it off with 13 seconds to go (lol two bounces on an A-20, [edited] off RNG), even though I was only on 26 hp (But we still lost, because my remaining teammates were either clueless or literally AFK).

LOL.

220 memes abound...it’s my go-to tank for those infuriating blocking missions (which appear to have been designed by someone who didn’t know about sprem spam)

If only it was T6, you could use it for the Campaign missions...
