Swung way to far in favour of SPG, They never miss!

With Three SPG on each side in a game it nothing but raining artillery.

As someone who plays SPG, I am telling you, they are from being lasers. 
I admit, some of them can be quite accurate but it has to do more with luck and aim RNG that actual accuracy

SPGs never miss? Well damn! That's news to me. Guess I should ask for a refund for my arties as they're all defective.

I find the blind fire into a bush that then sets someone on fire so you then get the kill a few seconds later rather giggity.

A bit bigger bloom on LeFhhhhhhFffffHhhs would make Tier Five less enraging right now. Rapid fire sniper accurate insta pens are a pain the you know what'sit. They make T67s feel balanced.

Only need one arty with a direct hit to wreck your game, when the reload is 30-40 seconds that is way too many shells capable of hitting you. 3 x Arty is stupid in current meta. Anyone can see this. 2 x Arty is enough.

The problem is the same that its always been. If you cut arty to 2 per game, you pretty much guarantee it will ALWAYS be 2 per game. Those 0-arty games will be a thing of the past.

Mid tiers is probably the worst with spg's like the M44 which can fire quickly, aim fairly accurately due to trajectory and hit hard.

 

3 spg's per team makes it fairly ridiculous and I think should be cut to 2.

 

High tier the slightly slower reloads and (often due to my crews) faster repair and move helps so I have less games where you just get insta-killed.

 

"Stop camping" is just a troll statement and pointless. It's not the campers that are getting smashed but those who are often carrying the fight at key locations.

Lucky there is always 2 more arty on the team more to make sure that if the first one misses they can "help"

Keep hating on Arty, it is music to my ears.

Just be thankful that the old meta for arty was nerfed. 

Then you would have been one shot by arty instead of being stunned.

 

Besides every major update wargaming is nerfing arty in many indirect ways like adding more cover for other tank types and removing bushes and hard cover for arty.


AC-1 Sentinel needs Buffing NOW

 

Hate the wheelies, remove them.

 

I don't play arty anymore since the nerf, but then again I haven't given WG any more money since then either.

I dunno, the new meta wasn't a nerf for me. As an arty player, I'd accept losing a bit of alpha for that glorious splash + accuracy combo. Kinda feels like pre-8.6 SPG without the OHKO ability, but at least I hit a lot of targets.

But those results are pretty much what you would expect from Lanchesters Law. The ones which you win by 1 or 2 tanks are the ones which are very unlikely, but admittedly very good fun. 

 

I'm not sure how you would ever manipulate the MM to consistently give close games. All it takes is a very slight disparity in the amount of teamwork each side undertakes. A local area is won, tanks are freed up to flank  and then the snowball starts.

 

Its why playing even in with the slightest bit of teamwork will dramatically help your win rate go up.

Bearing in mind of course the caveat that making plays which expect teamwork is actively punished.

Which is why you need to work with your team, not expect them to work with you.

 

Such as going with the lemming train. Picking your moment to flank if you are going to be exposed.

Thanks, OP, you've been added to my 'focus' list via special mod I've been developing for arty players. A icon in the shape of a baby's dummy appears next to your name, indicating I should target you for maximum tear spillage and nappy filling.
