Due to its premium nature, WG is so afraid that it can't touch it stats.

So with some compromise, maybe we can enforce that LeFH can only enter matches that the opposite team also has a LeFH? If more than one, the numbers of them should match?

With its pre-nerfed stats, it is way more powerful than the tech tree counterparts, especially at low tier games, where those nerfed arty don't even got stun buff.

Besides, it theoretically reduces the chance that we meet them.

Read the suggestion. Basically it's balance by mirroring as opposed to actually changing its numbers.

I read it but how is it special MM?

There are whole fleets of tanks you could do this with. One side gets a Leo 1, the other a 430U. Obviously the side with the 430U will lose.

Leo 1 is OP, they should just buff the 430U

WG has said this for quite a while now. People will be getting frustrated with the length of time its taking to do something about the blatant shortcomings of Soviet tanks.

Yesterday I took out my Churchill Gun Carrier and almost got a shot into a T34 who tried to circle me. Its totally unfair on people playing totally UP lines.

In fact its more than just lines, the entire Soviet fleet could do with some love.

Definitely Puggs, the soviet lines are just too hard to play and need some serious love

'Mirror MM' wouldn't help much I afraid.

It will just make both team equally miserable if both LeFH played by good players.

Back to World of Tanks for now.

I think the best way to re balance the existing USSR tanks is to drop them down 2 or 3 tiers and add some new (obviously much better) tier 8-10.

You'd leave the stats as they are, as the 268-4 would clearly still be difficult to win with at tier 7 in its current form.

And to be honest, I can't think of a single USSR premium tank off the top of my head. We should probably provide more premium options for the ruski nation.

Spacey, its obvious you are putting some quality time into analysing the fundamental flaws of the current patch.

I reckon you could expand this fabulous start into a more formal document which could be sent on. Don't be shy mate.

Great ideas there spacewolf, there's obviously plenty that can be done to make the russian line fun to play!

I have invested considerable time of late into quite a lot of investigation, observation and calculation. WG seriously should gib job nau.

I did draft up a 300 page discourse on my findings, but the basis of my thesis was that the entire USSR tree was severely lacking, the growth of the game is assured in its current form, and the general WG gaming community need more paid for shades of premium tanks - I mean, why stop at the IS-6B? Why wouldn't you go the IS6- Pink, the IS6- Green and the IS6- Pimp Lilac? Give us those colours and charge us $50 ffs.

Clearly I know their customer base better than they do.

I might just throw my 2 cents in. Obviously not in terms of content, that is world class, but more related to presentation.

I'd be careful with a 300 page discourse and would move as much as possible into appendices to improve general readability. Maybe aim for 40 odd pages in the main report. Also a 3 or 4 page executive summary will really enable you to get the point across succintly.

I don't think you should underestimate the potential for "blockers" or "reactionaries" who have the view that Soviet vehicles are fine as they are and not UP at all. If we are going to help restore balance to this game we need all the ducks in a row.

As a side note we used to take the piss out of a boss who was fond of the phrase "ducks in a row". We purchased 3 ceramic ducks designed to be hung on a wall like these

The meeting would start with the ducks aligned to be not in a row.

Once agreement had been achieved, the ducks would be moved into aligned formation. He never twigged what we were doing, but his boss certainly did. He thought it hilarious.

Oh don't worry, the report was un put downable. I should send you a copy, the amount of effort I put into it really would startle you.

Many pie charts were involved, and I would put some here for people to be dazzled with my facts but I am way too lazy busy.

I love a good series of pie charts.

As a graduate I saw my boss put out a huge series of graphs in a report with the cryptic remark on the front "I think you will find Figure 23 very interesting". Had people tied up for nearly a week trying to understand what the hell he was referring to..... nothing.

If we start by giving one tank "mirror matchmaking", soon players will be asking it for other tanks. If full mirror matchmaking is in effect, the outcome of a game would be solely dependent on the players' skills (and perhaps the difference in crew or equipment). The game's result is more or less determined the moment you load into the map. Let's say you are on the team with 14 other average players, theoretically, if you are against 15 above-average players, it is very likely that you will be losing that game, cause now you are matched against the same tanks, and the enemies are more skilful than you are, you are not likely to be turning that game around into a victory, and that would make people complain more.

Hate the game, not the player

I do love my grind on Leopard 1 line, but after I played T-44, I couldn't help but think that Soviet medium line is so strong in some weird way.

E.g: Snap-shooting your opponents by far stationary is almost as accurate as moving. (Of course, it do miss, but it just feel more accurate when snap-shooting wrt Indien-Panzer)

Armor is a joke, but it does have some magical moments.....etc

I don't do well in soviet mediums, in fact, I do feel that Leopard line is far easier for me to play. But the Soviet counterpart is simply more versatile with it strength, and the Leopard line just don't have that much superior gun to balance out this difference.

Well, but this term is special only for LeFH, where WG will admit that it is currently an OP tank, and they can't do anything to its stats.
However, for other tanks, you will have to give better reason, since WG do think they are balanced currently, and it can balance them through the edit of stats instead of changing matchmaking, which will cause a lot more issue as you stated.
