I picked myself a Caernarvon last night.
I had to sell off a lot of things, all the premium consumables (close to 300) that i had gotten over various events and missions wihtout spending a single credit (i keep them for this purpose only, when i need to buy a tank, they come handy), sold off BC12t, ISM and JGPZ E100 and some equipment as well. I know that sounds a lot. Unfortunately it was sale so i got half the price. Which means i lost about 1.6mn credits on sale of consu alone, and another 1.5mn on equipment during sale of vehicles as i have no gold to demount them (im completely ftp) and E100 was top of the tree, so deduct another 1.2mn from that sale. Thats a loss of over 4mn credits. But it was necessary to get this vehicle as i had already missed the sale of black dog.
But since last few hours, I have earned over 300,000 credits in just a about 15-20 battles....Its amazing how much premium tanks make even without premium account!!
Im sure ill be able to get my vehicles back in a few month and sustain my high tier game play that i enjoy.
wow man u have done someting really tough in there... Its almost like you dont care at all about burning credits... But if you are enjoying the purchase u have made, then i guess it was a great deal for you!!

A good purchase then. One tip if you need some gold, do some front lines next time it comes around as they give out a bit there.
agreee....if u are gonna play that tank alot, then its a great purchase... I dont even play my cdc that much, because i still hope someday it will get buff. In the other hand something i didnt even buy at all (it was given to me by wargaming in the holiday crates as a random reward) the E25 was indeed an incredible indirect purchase, its my all time stress reliefer, seal clubber, stat padder, dirty as arty-but-not-so dirty as-arty killing machine lol. Best (and only) indirect purchase ever.

Some people might suggest that you'd be better trying to win half your games at low tiers, or averaging your hit points in damage at say tier 5 before playing tier 10s but what would they know, right?
i always believed that. I see the game as levels. From level 1 to level 10 (tier 1 to tier 10), there is a meaning to playing for so long to get to tier 10, its all about getting crews, improving, learning etc. But wargaming wants to push people to play tier 10 faster, thats why they came around with these blueprints and now they wants to make every have equal crew skills with these so called skill books... Good thing is that crew skills are nothing without game knoledge, so that alone should keep things balance.d

I recommend you sell all your 9s and 10s so you have enough credits to buy all the things that will come up.
Make sure to not rebuy them.
i got caught by surprise as well although i have 17.8 million gross credits laying around and 200 million credits worth of consumables, but i would never sell them half price just to get something like a black dog or black skinned version of what i already have... I think this half price consumables sales cannot be just a coincidence?? well maybe it is, such unfortunate coincidence to happen right when we need credits to buy weird tanks that are being sold in a black market event that no one knew was coming.... Such surprise for me... But i will never sell a single consumable i have for half price... That would be such waste of credits/time that i am not willing to afford...
i have set up my alarm clock everyday to wake me up at 00:58am just so i have time to login and wait the refresh time. Lets see if we can get good stuff or wargaming will really push these silly black version of reskins of tanks i already have..
thx
