Not sure if it is just me, but...

The way the aiming RNG works seems to be

1) It decides on the location you are going to hit

2) Then it auto-compensates for the target distance

Meaning if it decides to hit a location that is not the intended target, it will auto compensate the distance to hit the RNG-ed location instead of the intended target.

When I aim at a target far away and the bottom half of the tank is blocked by terrain, I've been observing shell trajectories that look like they are aiming for the ground way nearer to the shooter.

Shouldn't it be

1) Compensate for distance based on where the reticle is pointing

2) Then randomly shifts the trajectory based on RNG

Noobs don't snipe because they are good at snipe; noobs snipe because they can't do anything else / People don't lose because they lemming; people lemming because they are losers

Do not confuse team strength with individual strength; a single enemy killed in a 1v3 is worth more than two enemies killed in a 4v2 / Lanchester's Square Law predicts in a 2v1, the side with 2 will end with 1.5 tanks remaining, so if you won with less than that remaining, you're actually noob, not pro

When you are not losing because you outnumber the enemy, your other flank is losing because they are outnumbered; it's just math

Law of mirror: When you are holding a 1v6 against the enemy, you own team is also getting 6v1 held by the enemy

Noob self-balancing theory: When you release a good tank, enough noobs will flood to play it, until the server stats become average again

Yeah I've noticed that, it seems to aim for the closest thing under the reticle, not what you have it centered over

Noticed a long while ago. Ranked it in top 50 most annoying aspects.

I've always wanted an option to turn off the auto-compensator every FL game.

If they don't fix it they should at least award a medal for doing over 3k worth of damage to soil.

Gold Planter - Awarded to players who manage to shoot 3k worth of damage, or 30,000 gold's worth, of premium ammo into the ground.

Playing this morning for first time since update i have noticed far more arcing in my shots like on ridge lines but now it is all the time (bright spark places magnets in ground). I understand trajectory and distance but i didn't really think it was implemented in game to the extent of how much it is happening.

Maybe i should read more for my casual gaming experience to know the truth but this takes casual out of the equation.
