Great game but some of the bots are too good, they never aim when snap shooting, when your lit they focus fire on you or if your behind a building their barrel remained locked on you so you cant pop and shoot guaranteed their using Aimbot, you somehow get proxy spotted from long distances usually outside your visual range and boom you get hit by invisible tanks, you get more losses than wins and the so-called patch to fix MM on homefront is a total fail... tier1 with tier 3 what a joke

They've added RNG to purchases now too in addition to ping and other fun things in the game.

MY RATE: 3.5 out of 10

 

CONS:

 

• Full bugged game mode, never wanna play this mode again at this state. it was clearly a release of an unfinished product. Got to play 6 times in a row in the same map today. Does that sound like bad lucky or just bad randomization design???? The game mode started really bad, improved a little and became playable but boring;

 

• Today in the  penultimate wave of enemies, a Stug G or stug 4 i dunno, happens to get "stuck" in his base, didnt move at all the whole wave moved forward but he stayed inside the base behind the red line. WE WERE UNABLE to enter there to spot him, since our tanks are also so shit that we get outspotted but cant spot in return even if we go full blind kamikaze... So as the game is fully bugged as it is, it allowed the next wave (the last one) to proceed without us having killed the stug g, then we killed the entire last wave, but since that stug g from the penultimate wave was still stucked somewhere at his base we didnt win at all, instead, another wave after the last one (???????????) full of leopards came and finished killing me and another guy;

 

• Grindy and boring;

 

• Enemies predictable, or performing blind shots that defies that basic game mechanics, it looks like once u are spotted the enemy can see you longer than 10 seconds, the turret seems to keep locked on me, very strange but i need to check it closely. It seems that for bots development team gave a little "hand" when it comes to RNG and spotting camo mechanics;

 

• At the start of the event i was called wallet warrior, i am chat banned so i couldnt reply with a laugh. Although at the ocasion i was called wallet warrior i was playing a division that i indeed had hard worked upgraded the levels from the start, without paying for it, but thats not the point;

 

• did i say its too boring??? 

 

I got so mad and disgusted with the poor develepement of this game mode that i almost punched my keyboard, i didnt wanna play this game mode anymore, so sick and boring, but i am just 3 battles away from getting the Improved Rammer.. so after i get it, i will never want to play homefront again..Thx

 

PROS:

 

• I can buy with my money to skip a little of the grind and get more fuel. Other players may not like it but thats not a Cons, its a WIN for me hehehe;

 

• nice arty strike and other consumables like airplane low level strike.. i can farm their spawn point all day long so at least i can finish the battle faster and finish the grind faster so i dont need to play homefront anymore..

 

• might be a useful mode to train new players to become better at random battles.

 

• if you buy the 1500 bundle, u get 20 boosters included 10 cred boosters which are hard to get.

Also did a support ticket re the HK ping thing since I can't access discord server and no one from WG seems to come here these days.

The best thing about this mode? It makes Frontline  feel like hardly a grind at all.

- First few days were an absolute mess. Pay-2-tier-III players were destroying the fun for all the poor souls dragged along with them.
- Missing respawn screen only recently fixed. Too late for a patch fix to affect my remaining interest in this mode.
- Limited fuel cans wouldnt be a problem if matchmaker wouldnt team us up against max tier knobs with afk-ers all over the place (when tier 1s just see 10 waves, they just afk since its a loss anyway)
- [edited] is that bot accuracy and tracing? What even is double bush?
- Dont randomly put my repair kit on 4 and fire extinguisher on 5. Let the player decide which button it's tied to.
- KV-1 with 10+ sec reload derp to fight Leopard swarms? SU-85 that doesnt use an 85? Hello WG what the heck?
- Lack of first aid kit to remove stun effect from allied airstrikes. Wanna soft-teamkill someone? Stun them when its the enemy bombardment phase. WG, u played yourself.

But you only get the fuel for ranking up.... if the one you are buying is already ranked up, what fuel were you hoping for?

You should probably misread what it is you are purchasing more often, WG will love you long time. If you are purchasing a package on a tier 3 division it clearly says "Level III of [Division x] already received" with a big [edited] tick. Veddy nice, h@v nice day, plz cum agin

I conclude WG treats tier III differently depending on whether it was bought or not.

i never got a team with more than 3 level 3s (including me). Most of my teams was me with some level 2s and level 1s. Got 10 waves only if there was more than 2 level 3s... 10 waves are easier to get frontpoints tho.

A suggestion: Allow players to continue playing even after running out of fuel. Just don't give the rewards.

 

Want to play LV3 also can't.

According to the WG website - 25 July 06:40 UTC +8 - 6 August 2019 07:00 UTC +8 - yet still going now.

I unlocked the rammer early this morning, and I had multiple battles where the score I got, didn't add to my total. Meaning I wasted 3-4 cans of fuel repeating battles, and wasted a lot of time. Which also meant I ended up being just short of fuel cans for the Stabs also........reached level 3 with all 6 divisions, just couldn't get the East to 2,000 points.

Not sure if it's worth raising a ticket at this late stage

Yeah the number of waves became seemingly completely random after that supposed "MM Patch".

 

Oh, and didn't solve the issue of throwing T1 players with T2/3 players in any way.

To add to the bug list, I managed to lose a can of fuel when the client froze. I re-started but just went straight into the garage.

 

Ah well, no great loss as I still managed to get the VStab with cans to spare.

Technically you don't buy fuel, u buy the tier III, which gives u fuel when u reach tier III

 

The maximum number of fuel u can get is fixed whether u pay money or not. 6*2 for reaching tier 2, 6*4 for reaching tier 3, and 4 per day. Total 84 or something?
