So 1.6 is out along with a New Marathon but the difference between this and the other Marathon is that it does not reward you with a Tier 8 Premium tank but instead a Skin FOR that Tier 8 Premium Tank, in order to make it usable you will first have to buy the Tank to make the final Reward in the Marathon worth it in which I think is a really dumb and frustrating thing to come across... but what is your take on the Event?

So upon closer look on the Missions in the Event it seems that you will be rewarded less from this Marathon along the way if you decide to grind it normally, but if you want to get the "better rewards" you are REQUIRED to have the Skoda T 27 Tier 8 Premium Tank, this is really dumb in my opinion, like just wrapping your head around this Reward is outstandingly Ridiculous as you think how WG thought to implement it the way it is, this Monitezation tactics is getting out of hand and becoming more Stupid by each update, I really hope WG good long look in the mirror and ask themselves about this, hopefully I am not the only one confused how they set this up.

I gather fragments are about it. So for some people they'll be somewhere between useless and meh depending on if they'll ever release another Czech line.

I bought the patton KR which i regretted near immediately, then my purse was pried open briefly for the 432, but given the current trajectory i suspect will stay shut for some time to come.

I was tempted by the TS5 this week, but my common sense prevailed. Plus we have a club run up north in a week's time so I kept the coin for drinking money.

But as an aside that i dropped in discord earlier, with the crew books WG have inadvertently made the concept of buying a crew trainer prem for a nation/class completely redundant. You are considerably better off just using a prem you like, grind credits with it, then convert those credits to crew xp for whatever tank you want.

You still get them as cz, and one would assume a new line will turn up at some point... maybe... soon tm.

It's got it's pros and cons. More freaks with pedo avatars is one of the obvious shortcomings. I'm not sure if there's a way to remove people's avatars. Beyond that it's basically banter from a more mixed group which i suspect is a bit more sheltered. One gent thought i was a hopey alt because i wasn't all that positive about WG. From an information standpoint you aren't missing much. It's mostly a time sink in lieu of much decent content on here. Plus WG seem to have chosen it for their timely coms because i guess forums are hard tm.

To be fair that is better than any response I have had to a pm to an apparently current WG community personage..

Are these DogTags part of this marathon? Because they're really annoying. I don't want to know who has killed me. And then they clog up the screen space and are all in my face. It's like WGing wants to [content removed] me. When I die I am trying to leave the game before the stupid graphic kicks in to avoid the [content removed]. [edited] game design.

Its funny that I find the dog t-bagging much more intrusive than the previous simple name. 

 

I am highly appreciative of the efforts WG have gone to recently to improve my gaming experience. Protecting me from people expressing negativity, dog tags, no enemy chat, its like they have no concept of people letting off a little steam is a good thing.

Reading failz. Cheers mate, just saved myself wasting a lot of time. Got a 4 skill girl crew in the T9, and a 3.5 skill crew in the tier 10.

What the hell would I use another Czech crew for? re-buying the Bane of the Defender?
