Does anybody else find that national blueprint fragments basically never bloody drop?

In the months since the introduction of the blueprint system, I've had less than fifteen (possibly less than 10) national fragments drop over some dozens of hours played, and only once have I ever had enough to actually create a high-level blueprint (Had 3 American bits, so that was 1 fragment for the T32, IIRC).

Meanwhile I have well over 100 universal bits (possibly close to 200 now).

Is this similar to everyone else's experience?

Nope. Although I only have 10 tier 9s to finish grinding to complete everything so most individual tank ones I get probably convert to nationals.

Currently I have:

Germany 6
USSR 9
USA 3
Japan 2
China 1
UK 7
France 1
Czech 10
Poland 0
Italy 0
Sweden 1

I have created quite a few as well.

Yeah, I have about 50% of the tech tree completed. So I get a fair number of universals.

I didn't realize you could create national fragments? How on earth do you do that?

I mean I have created quite a few blueprints from the fragments I have gained.

Its not often but they come fairly regularly.

I've only got the T34-2, the CGC and the pommie lts to research. The last week or so I have not had any national ones. Think I have 1 UK and about 60 universals at the moment.

I'm going to create a couple of Russian ones with what I have for the 261 then focus will be UK where I'll bank them to make fragments for the Manticore.

Did you hang around for the end of that game on Ruinberg yesterday Puggs... Sundays.

I just get frustrated by the fact I'm still getting National fragments for nations that I have fully researched. What the hell do you do with those. Somebody in another thread suggested a similar mechanism to the Decorations that let you recycle the surpluses, for ones you needed.

I'll just have to park them with all the 2 and 3 skill radio operators I have that aren't needed at tier 10

Nope, it was a total schemoozle.

I seriously considered stopping playing and going for an offshore paddle with a 45km/hr westerly, 3m southerly swell and a "feels like" temp of 3 degrees. Actually the 25km southerly with a 3m southerly swell today kind of looks like great fun.

The entire weekend seemed like that, just terrible gameplay, the most incredibly poor choices from teams (being up by 4 tanks early then a conga line of yoloing into the hidden tds), and me not really playing well either.

I ended up playing arty last night for the first time in quite a while.

It made me want to punch kittens. In fact my next game in the Setter resulted in the headphones flying across the room and me hitting the power button on my machine. Full tantrum.

It's a bit of a shame he hasn't played in over a week as i was looking forward to seeing how well he was enjoying them.

A good tantie is always amusing!

I'm kind of expecting an incoming chat ban......

And it didn't help when I went out the back to find [edited] birds had nipped all the leaves off all the beetroot seedlings I had planted. Interesting they had left the rocket alone.

The missus was away on a girls weekend so there was no relief of any kind.

I've unlocked the Setter but am yet to purchase it. Went close a few times but the last thing i need at the moment is another tank I could play poorly in (Caern AX I'm looking at you.......)

Was thinking about this the other day myself.

I have had plenty of russian and german national fragments, which is strange because they are pretty much all tanks researched.

Most nations I have had zero drops of, are the ones I need, Italy, UK, Poland.

Currently sitting on dozens of universals, and now thanks to czech missions, a few dozen of those, but don't want any czech tanks?!.

I think it generates tank fragments but if you have that tank researched it turns it into a national one (and if you have that nation complete it turns into a universal).  Then when you consider how many Russian tanks there are vs say Polish you get an idea why you see many more Russian than Polish ones.

Puggs. Blind fired by SPG and died. It was a draw...

Yeah I think most of us know what I'm like...

I don't mind if they are shit just so long as they are actually trying. The TD's that sit in a bush on full hp watching their team melt in front of them are the worst.

That's the thing, even on easy wins i get annoyed with the players who literally have driven to one spot, then either gone AFK / engaged an aim bot and then played no further part in the battle. They are so very clearly hundreds of meters beyond even render range of the nearest enemy and yet they do a 'nope, this is my boosh and i'm sticking to it'.

Had a patriot cost us the game I mentioned on Ruinberg last night by doing this. Just checked out of the game for 6 minutes then reappeared and wouldn't move from the middle circle. If he's been a bot I would have assumed it enabled encounter mode and was trying to cap.

Not sure if its confirmation bias or not (highly likely to be) but it sure feels like the teams are a lot worse now than a few months ago.

Totally passive play, lots of campers who seem unable to hit any lit enemies - having 5 teammates on the elevated sniper perch on Pilsen, who failed to hit either of the light tanks which yolo rushed me was very representative, as was the pinging of the map and "NOOB SPOT!!" messages when I limped off with barely any health left.

On the other hand I'm pretty lose to getting another free T8 prem, my recruit is going really well in the Luchs! Very much enjoyed the T92. Thinking about getting the FV2402 this time.

I have not engaged closely with the latest recruit programme which is a mistake as the tank barbie is quite sexy.

Yes indeed, especially as the Luchs is a fearsome generator of top guns and high calibres.
