This 10% discount is proof that Wargaming actively wishes to spite me.

Welcome back, friend. 7th March 2021.

Would be a 3rd Tier 8 Light Tank, if I had not already gotten the M41 90mm GF from the previous Black Market Sale.
Survived the Bread & Butter Rektage of 2015/16
Survived the DPS Bus Apocalypse of 2014

I get that to a seasoned player there was probably a lot of familiar tanks in the Festival Fair, but to play Devil's Advocate (for no reason at all) we literally sold the Sexton and the Deathstar a matter of months ago. The E 25 is a tank that's reserved for competition giveaways like the Type 59 (please don't make me eat those words Tan), so it's unlikely that it would appear on a sale list as well.
But if I'm completely honest, between this, the Advent Calendar, and the Black Market - I think there's plenty of opportunity for even a dedicated player to pick up something new and exciting. If you had the option to buy rare tanks all year round, they wouldn't be rare and they wouldn't be exciting.

A pity the 13 57 can't be used for 279e so I'm waiting for the wheelie
Why isn't there an option to. I mean, we original LT players have lived through worse.

Yea I'm with Jay on this one. There's enough events to cater for the long termers amongst us, and if you miss them then you really probably didn't want that particular tank that badly. And if you do, you'll likely end up getting it.
So not very disappointing from where I sit, but my excitement level is not a lot higher than a hungover sloth as far as WOT is concerned.

Went from 50% discounts to 30% to 15% and now its at 10%.
Yikes I hope this isn't the trend for consumables and equipment as well. (Currently on the 25% mark vs regular 50% we used to get...)

It's the trend for everything. Mobile app micro-transaction specialists have taken over development and marketing.
They will bluff us a few times with not-soo great Premium tanks, but I guarantee at least once a year a slightly-better-than-the-rest Tier 8 will be released.
They have started charging us interest on our investment.
Long-time players feel free to confirm or denounce.
Inflation is driving new tank designs. WarGaming need you, me and everybody (got a part time love) to become unhappy with previous tank purchases. If our old investments are not power-crept by new tank releases, we have no incentive to buy them. So power creep and redundancy of previous investment.
Personally games I have played that followed this path all lost long-term customers with this marketing strategy. They were left chasing fresh players for income, as it doesn't take many cycles of this to see what you spent 6 months ago is worthless, and player retention collapsed.
Making unique asthetics etc. that do not affect competitiveness to sell, on the back of a development team that interacts with their customers effectively, and a bug free product are not soo good for figures in a quarter - but long-term just go look at Kingdoms of Camelot on Facebook. It was HUGE. Then power creep sales happened. Now it is dead.
It wears pretty thin once customers realise that without continual re-investment staying competitive becomes a joke.
It could at least put on some lipstick and give less corridoory maps lol. Although I suspect that was deliberate to change the meta so old tanks are redundant.
I am genuinely concerned that contract-term bonus quotas are going to kill another great game. Hasn't quite happened, but the warning signs are all out.
Pretty soon it will be "Purchase half the tank in bundle alpha, with a bunch of worthless directives" and "Get the other half for twice the price in bundle beta, with a 100% crew!"
No 0 BIA of course, that would be a pixel too far.
*A few years later...
SALE NOW ON
"Get your hands on the NEW OP Tier 8 Premium Tank!
With each weekly payment you will receive a bundle of tank parts!
In just 24 payments of $19.99 you will have your complete vehicle!"

On a positive note : The Mini Game Arcade is AWESOME! Quartermaster brought back memories of my very first handheld arcade game - Fire by Nintendo. I even went rummaging for it lol. AND IT STILL WORKS!!!! (1980 release)
Instead of catching cans, you have to bounce babies from the burning building on left to the ambulance. Even losing is kind of baby-splatterish fun.
They are shitty games, but have some nostalgia value for us old farts
Has anyone else got a template for the tank game yet?
Fast aim just outside last bar on reticle.
Medium aim midway between outside bar and the next.
Slow aim 2 1/2 bars from centre.

I remember a shitty game like this that ate 20 cent pieces for breakfast. The trick is to lead the slowest tank till the medium and/or fast hit the reticle marks above simultaneously, then double or triple kill.
*sigh* #apathywithtanks .... doing strats for mini-games instead
Quartermaster is easy.
Put a strobe on at 60hz.
Glue fingers to control keys.
Hit start just as the first symptoms of an epileptic episode.
Enjoy the ride.
