"A fellow I know" just finished his recruit grind. Plus a recruit of mine is going to finish his own run soon, so there's that too.

Read some threads asking the same question on other forums and the answer diversity is just wild. Every tank had people saying it was trash and people saying it was great, except maybe the Tiger 131 which everyone agrees is okay, but not anything great (as an owner of the HT IV, I agree).

My *ahem* friend is looking at maybe the KV-122. Not a fan of the casemate TDs (just like me!), and while the Panther Warcrime is quite good and a top choice with it's pref MM, it's not the first choice due to the playstyle.

The VC has really nice DPM for a T6 and great gold pen in case you meet T8s, but that gun dep is gross on a tank as tall as a Sherman and it's slower than dirt with anemic PtW (not as slow as the tech tree version though!).

KV-122 seems to have some real hatred for it, but it seems like that's people just not understanding it's a heavium? Or is it that bad in spite of the meme alpha? Having a Russian HT crew seems reasonable and it's one of the few T7s.

So I'm not sure what to suggest?

My friend grabbed the Firefly but I'm not sure he'll play much now I have 1500 credits. My next friend is on his way as well.

Actually, I tell a lie, it appears he took the credits.

I still think it's morally wrong so in fact I'm right.

The KV-122 is, of course, a KV1S. Or it is what the KV1S used to be but at a tier up, which is probably where the 1S should have been to start with.

Probs a good tank for "your friend", would make for a good xp/cred grind run and is relatively inexpensive. It does have horribad depression tho, and can struggle above tier 8.

Best credit earn is on mobile platforms, you can just keep on gunning.

My friend got the 122 and hasn't played it much cause they are having a rest.

Have to say, mobility is not among the stronger offerings in the group recruit reward tanks :D

KV-122 it is then...
