Hi all, just trying to decide on the 3rd piece of equipment for my T95.

1 & 2 are Large calibre gun rammer and vents.

For 3 I'm undecided between spall liner, coated optics or GLD.

(Using toolkit till I decide)

Kinda leaning towards spall liner but not sure.

Thoughts or experiences?

i dont have a t95 , but these might help,t95 is slow piece of a td with a big gun and thick front armor, slow speed and slow to turn around. You will focus on survivability. Equipment is rammer, no need 2 explain, a toolbox for quick repair of tracks I Love to track t95s and a spall liner, Arty will focus on you and stunned and will stun you for 10+ seconds and enemies might track you, get stunned again and you will be hopeless piece of target and easy to dispose. Crew skills should be repairs. On the driver when he reaches second skill clutch breaking ,3rd skill offroad driving. Consumables  small and large repair kits, and a bandaid.

Thats what I ended up running too.

Think I might swap repair for Spall when I max out the repair skills.

Not sure, might try and see if its better overall.

Anyhow, just elited it tonight.

Found its very situational, but when it works - it works! :izmena:

I keep the toolbox on and will often switch out the top gun for the faster firing one for a few giggles.

Then just drive into them.

The doomturtle trundling straight at them with 3.4k dpm has them pulling all sorts of panicky shots when they are getting hit every 7 seconds.

I might have to try that, the 120mm is pretty decent.

But for full on TD rate of fire I don't think the Tortoise can be beat.

I've not played a T95, but I've spectated a lot and the general consensus is to run a camo net and binocs. It's a TD after all.

Disagree.

While that is a decent choice for some of the more lightly armoured TD's, things like the T95, Tortoise, 268-4 and other assault TD's are best played right up in their face.

Get in their face, bully them, make  them panic and make mistakes, get so close that the weakspots are a challenge.

For these, far better to increase your DPM instead of camo and view I think.
