Alright, it seems that the information about the Event having an Auction is true, as the image below shows the Chrysler K GF is the first Tank to be Auctioned with a Starting Bid of 3 Million Credits, what this means is that you can put an X amount of Credits to Bid no less than 3 Million Credits, and the Top 2,550 Bids win the prize at the end of said Auction. Losing bids will have their credits returned in full, Starting Bid and Quantity of Tanks may vary.

Link of Source.

You can freely change your Bid at anytime with no Penalties until the end of the Auction, just in case you want to alter your Bid.

----------

Additional Information in regards to Korea, it seems that due to the Nature of the Event they are not allowed to participate in the Black Market due to Laws(?) and WG has no plans to compensate or do anything about it, other than to block them from participating.

Which roughly translates to:

"Landing Cargo(red) Don't be disappointed. We will bring a new item to be sold soon. We are working on it"

Google Translate:

"All black market content is served the same as other regions, except for products that are subject to competition rules.

Commander, lets join the auction! Regards from your old friend, The Salesman."

Personal Note:

I do believe this is Wargaming testing the waters on how much they can get away with making a Credit Sink to the Playerbase, I also fear that we'll get a tank auctioned in Gold as well. Though they may be effective in a way to get currency out of the Economy I still feel this is an underhanded move that I very much deslike, but that's just my personal feelings about it, let's have a Discussion, how do you feel about this new implementation in the Event, write down below!

Credit bidding is just feeding and giving more power to botters. Encourage people to seek for credit grinding service as the price to sink on average would be way out of regular player's budget.

This is the very same situation as 2017 Christmas Box decorations issue. No prior announcement, no response to players’ complains.

WGKR’s incompetence and absence of communication have been proven yet again.

Interesting part is that, while the Christmas decorations had been excluded from the random boxes in the entire server due to legal problems in some countries in 2017, this time only Korean players are unable to access certain contents because of Korean legal prohibition. Now I don’t mean that all APAC users should be unable to join the auction, but it is clear that Wargaming Asia admins should have double-checked if there are any legal issues which may prevent players from participating in incoming event. As a player tagged as Korean, I feel like I am being discriminated for no proper reason. No one can give me back my time for sleep.

We need clarification regarding this situation. Is there any compensation planned for Korean players? Should we keep wasting time, waiting for what-could-be-another-auction we cannot even see in-game?

Even for WG this is a greedy and rude idea. If I'm waking up at 3am for this event I damn well want to know it's because I'm either buying or not buying a vehicle, at my discretion. An auction system throws budgets out the window and places genuine players at a disadvantage against bots and account/gold sellers with comparatively unlimited resources and for whom very large auction bids are inconsequential.

WG would have recognised these things, and that they still proceeded with it says everything about their attitude to the player base. Pathetic.

I love how the marketing groups think and make plans, look at the timing of black market, exactly before clan war which is tempting players to spend their gold and silver to buy over priced tanks just base on hype (some of these tanks not even worth it) then bingo there is cw and you need silver to play it so go to the shop and buy the pot (even now those who are low on silver or gold they need to buy it hehehe )

In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him.

more than 400 new vehicles are still planned for World of Tanks

They weren't thinking at all when they decided to run the BM event concurrently with Dynasty Wars. That tier X play is seriously eroding credits, and denying players the ability to use them in the auctions.

It'll be really funny if the winning bids are all stuff like 3,000,0001 or 3,000,005.

A more fun would be for everyone to bid exactly 3,000,000 and let WG work out what to do when they get a tied top bid for well over the amount of tanks they're selling.

But I'm far too lazy for that, and I don't even want the damn thing.

That's 125k gold if you were to convert it in-game.

Maybe that's exactly what they were thinking?

I wasn't playing Dynasty Wars...
