Yeah I missed out on the FV 215B 183 as well, was the only tank I was interested in getting. Alarm woke me up just before 3am but I was a bit slow getting on PC and into WoT but only by a minute (so 3.01am) and the FV was already sold out. Apparently 2500 sold in seconds at 64 million credits I think. Oh well, I get to keep all my credits/gold that I got from xmas loot boxes a while longer.

Nope. The problem is like last month. It's affecting alot of New Zealand players. Cannot access website properly, clan portal, dynasty wars page, tank rewards and worse of all store for black market without vpn. Needed a vpn to submit a ticket. I missed deathstar because of this, like I got screwed on LNY last month being locked out.

It just goes to show that Wargaming have lost touch with the player base.   The game is in decline and it is for this reason.   You would think they would understand that keeping the player base happy keeps their bottom line happy.   All they have done is piss off thousands of players that can't get what they want.   As I previously said the first BM event was good, the second is just exasperating and infuriating.

I'm curious why lots of players apparently only from one country would suddenly develop cache issues.

Yeah finding that it is mostly from one country changes things, it will still be related to the in game browser trying to connect but WG have never published any information about it.  If you treat it like a normal browser (and some/most  of the same users can't connect to the website either) it seems more likely to be DNS or some other network issue coming out of NZ.

It kinda gets at one of the other aspects i'm curious about - my guess clicking on the store is like connecting to another server and ANZ and HK would actually have the same effective store location. Things with limited stock could be aligned. Otherwise it would be a bit of a shit fight trying to work out stock levels etc..

 

Anyway not really helping the experience for those doing the 5am dance of joy in search of a deathstar.

I'm from NZ, and as of 0500 this morning I am experiencing the same problem. 

I have deleted the WOT cache and had no success.

 

I may actually try a different DNS lookup...

Yeah i've heard fiddling with your DNS can work. I'm AU based so haven't had the issue so not able to test or anything, but try that.

Use a VPN temporarily works too.

 

Issue with the stuff up on this tank needs to be fixed. Was a very rare tank and all collectors need an equal footing to get it. Maybe sell it again at the end.

Last year they repeated the T34B which was neither rare nor a collectors gem, but given the issue for the 183 appears to be very localised (and not RU...) i don't like our chances.

tried new DNS servers - didnt fix the store issue.

Paid for subscription for a VPN, didnt fix the store issue.

 

Even tried Hotspot to my mobile network.

 

Dafuq.

The new tank is up in 15 minutes and ive tried F*****G everything to make this work.
The store still says its unavailabe

If it makes you feel any better it's just the 59G starting at 20k gold so you aren't missing much today.
