Here is a thought,  next campaign scrap advance and elite fronts, one map that everyone fights on. Abolish personal fame boosters and just go on winning battles. Your clan wins 1st round 1x fame, your clan wins round 2 2x fame and so on till final round which is battle for land and that be 10x fame and tank locking...... just a thought. What you  guys think?

I heard campaign was changing completely anyway. Something about it turning into a sort of advances style. Although im not privy to this information, just word of mouth. So at the same time I suppose im free to discuss what I know.

 

Oh and that there will be no global map.

I did hear that as well but just like the HE changes, sometimes it doesn't happen

Just do ranking system already... make tech vics count as a free win. And you can't even rig battles coz it will just end up with good clan vs bad clan = no change in ranking.

 

You can still "buy" tanks as in let buyer clan win against good clan but that's the same as now anyway.

I believe ranking systems is a big thought. Similar to advances.

Please. Tier 8 and / or tier 6. Wider range of tanks, less viewrange saturation, no reward tank disadvantage. Tier10 is [edited] beyond repair sorry.

Yea no reward tank disadvantage. Only wallet disadvantage when you see all the 703. Meanwhile premium mod advantage will completely nullify all advantages the Defender has.

im just gonna post links comparing your average "meta" tanks for tier 8
and lets see what the "view range saturation" is?
(all without improved equipment) tanks.gg issue isnt showing maxed ranges apparently as one of the skill bonuses arent applying (eg, russian HTs, defender - tanks gg shows 438 max view. but mine in garage shows 444 max view range)

all meds/HTs/Lights are using max view range set ups (vents, optics and bia/sitawareness/recon) 

all TDs if they can mount vents, running vents optics combo here (skills dont change)

if the TD cannot mount Vents. it runs Optic/bino combo (dont argue this is for scientific blah blah, even then just running bino is going to put the TD over the 445 cap)

 

read it as you want, interpret how you want. but to that statement. there....... bar one or two tanks.

tier 8 still sees view range saturation. so please. Bolyx. better data to back up your statements please

There is no tank disadvantage for tier6, the tech tree tanks are the equal and in many cases better than the premiums. I would compete with purely tech tree tanks.

 

There is also less viewrange, to camop mechanics come more into play, the maps effectively larger.

Gun handling is worse, shell velocities lower, so higher skills required to aim up - lead shots.

7v7, Is easy to organise and plausable for family / working guys to participate.

 

I know a heap of current inactives that will return for tier6 clanwars. There are hundreds of inactive clans that will suddenly become active, and shiploads of players will participant;ate compared to the failed tier10 comp. And you will not even need to offer bonds or gold, a tier6 comp will be furiously fought, merely for special camo and badge.

 

You what tier 10 needs? It needs to be obliterated and given a fresh start. It is now broken beyond repair, most people hate it

Whats wrong with advocating for something that a lot of people want, and lot of people would enjoy? Thats the point of the thread right?

 

Just remember, tier6 was a lot more active than tier8 and tier10 when they discontinued it. And tier8 was a lot more active than tier10 when they discontinued that.

 

It would be better for everyone. You clan would be better for it too.

 

7vs7 tier6 would be perfectly fine for family guys and guys that have to work (these are the guys that probably pay the bulk of the server costs btw) and I am not saying they have to get rid of tier10

I suppose there is no rule that states the reward for a lower tier CW campaign necessarily has to be lower tier also.

 

Not necessarily advocating for lower tier clan wars, but I guess we should be able to think outside the box.

 

It isn't as if WG haven't already given every man and his dog a means to take part in tier 10 gameplay. ....

Given the popularity of the recent campaign I'm not sure wg will feel changing tiers is required. Would be nice to see a campaign without any cheating controversy. It's a big turn off seeing weak punishment of offenders.

Here's the uncomfortable truth, is it possibly the case that WG feel real punishment would cause a greater reduction in participation from one part of the player base than it would gain from another part of the player base?

 

In a similar way that they feel they have to have OP reward tanks in order to stimulate participation, regardless of what it does  to balance in multiple game modes.
