So i love watching wot replays, from best wot replays of course
but 1 thing i notice is that with the 6th sense detection, its not the usual light bulb and the 'ding' noise, its a blue face and a 'doot doot' noise. And i just wanna find out where i can find it, i like it

I would love to edit the sound effects of this game competely.
I hate the jarring sound of taking hits or getting tracked. It is a horrible sound, and frankly probably not good for your health having to listen to it. If I could, I would love to limit the sound to the sound of teh tanks driving, guns firing, and sixth sense bell.
Anyone know how to modify the sound effects, which file directory to access them?

Speaking of the SS symbol, anyone know which one had the interested timer as per iyouxin?
Edit: NVM, found one. And definitely worth a look if you ever have trouble estimating how long until you're unsure unspotted. Noting of course there count down just starts when you're lit, it doesn't work is you stay lit.

I personally find the beeping horrible.
If sixth goes off I usually glance up at the battle timer. If it becomes a good habit, you don't need to rely on the mod.
Power to you if it helps though, I know plenty of people that appreciate it.

I edited the XVM config to display the 6th sense icon for 10 seconds (you can set the timer to x seconds), will that work or do you need an actual honest-to-goodness countdown?

Yeah I used to do that, but having seen the countdown in action it does offer that little bit more useful info.

Yes and no...
If you know what your doing, you can rename the old folder in your mods folder to the new patch and off you go... With some hiccups due to the Wargaming Patch screwing mods.
If you don't like doing that however, or you're uncomfortable doing that, then yes, every single patch you'll need to download the new installer. But realistically, for the most part, you should download updated mods fairly frequently anyway. Especially seeing as how WG can release patchs which screw things completely unrelated, fairly regularly.

Found this mod on the official WG website, might be of use to you. It's set to 12 seconds by default, but I'm sure you can tweak it.
