WG should really make this mod a setting option.

I use a left side Nintendo JoyCon so I got the Shift zoom bound to shoulder button. So unless I scroll the mouse wheel, the JoyCon method works like that mod.

However, my main reason for using the JoyCon is because I really prefer thumbstick over WASD for tank movement. ( ex-WOT console player )

Meanwhile, my old-person eyesight makes do with x30 zoom and still misses most of the time.

Sigh, kiddies have this game now.

Oh no I still zoom to those levels, I just like it to default to x4 when I press Shift so it's not zoomed to x30 when I'm trying to engage a close target.

That other zoom (out to 300 meters) is my "where's Aslain update, I need my mod" mod.
I feel it should be illegal, but it's not. Definitely an advantage to having a birds eye view to see where enemy guns are facing behind rocks, ridges etc.

The funny part is how this mod works with replays too...

If it could at least crash the replay so the users can't participate in contests...

I have stomache of watching QB using 24x zoom and the shells going to the edge of the aiming circle while he complains that its RNG's fault or something of the sort. By watching streamers using it was the reason for me to never try these extreme zooms so my props for people who do well using the 24x zoom as they are too extreme. The tunnel vision could get worse using these extreme zoooms arent they?

My fav mods that make me go out of my way into the mod page to download are the Garbage seller, useful to keep track of my silver deposit.. Because I have around 18k consumables on depot too much to count by hand or write down in a paper yo know... I am afraid that someday some of my consumables may "disappear" so the garbage seller keeps me informed exactly the total amount of credits I have because it sums all the consumables for me so I dont need to count them manually.. My other fav mod is the Replay manager. Easy to use, keep preferences saved etc.. Both mods are in Aslain pack on WG webpage, and they dont need that much update apparently as I rarely need to go on page to download them again after WG update client..

Otherwise known as levelling the playing field, because otherwise other players having better memory is cheating.

you guys should go take a look at the "using mods is equal to hacking" thread, as this one will end up going off topic. Its for people who use mods and have no problem with it. Its not for the allhacksnotmyfault community.

Again, some people are contradictory.

Cause in their world WG obviously want you to cheat since they

a) make it modable and

b) even have a page where you can download mods i.e. recommend them

Bizarre.

I gave up functional mods ages ago. The only mod I wish I could have in randoms is Team HP, but as much as I would LOVE that info, it's just not worth installing - and constantly updating - any of the big, bloated modpacks.
