It is probably one of the best tanks at tier 8 for carry potential. Aside from blocking damage, it can almost do anything that the situation requires. Late game it is almost the ultimate assassin.
All of the above aside though the odds of WG nerfing it are somewhere between nil and a snowflakes in hell. Closest they will get to that is the continued push to making all classes except heavies (and TDs/meds that play like heavies) irrelevant.
