Dear Commanders,

To improve your game experience, here are the actions we've taken on the Asia server in the last month to keep our game fair and clean:

  • 52 accounts permanently banned for botting

Please be aware that using bots is prohibited in our Game Rules:

5.07 Using bots, clickers, macros, keyboard and mouse recorders, or any other similar methods that enables gameplay without the participation or with passive participation of the player within the battle.

Players who use bots (programs that imitate user actions in the game), clicker apps, and other similar methods of imitating user activity are violating the Game Rules. Having found such a violation, Player Support specialists will block the violator from accessing the game immediately.

The full list of banned accounts is as follows.

Dec 1 – 4 2021 (11 accounts)
Dec 5 – 11 2021 (13 accounts)
Dec 12 – 18 2021 (5 accounts)
Dec 19 – 25 2021 (14 accounts)
Dec 26 – 31 2021 (9 accounts)

IMPORTANT!

  • Reports submitted via the Player Support page are being processed individually by our team and will not be reflected in the list of banned accounts shown on this page. Please rest assured that all rule violations will be dealt with appropriately in due course.
  • Accounts identified as victims of phishing that got used for botting may also have been removed from this list. To prevent this from happening to you, please remember not to click on any unfamiliar/malicious links sent to you. If you have accidentally accessed such websites, be sure to run a virus scan on your computer and change your passwords for both your Wargaming.net ID and associated email account. Stay vigilant!

Spoiler

Let’s play fair and enjoy the game responsibly!

Any indication when the next illegal mod wave is happening?

Who the [edited] are you? Get Spoofed! "wouldn't be a proper WG balance change if they didn't [edited] something up after all "

>9000 cynicism brought to you by P2W, Balance TM and the Cartoon Connection

R. Pubbie: "why are all PBKAC players so rude, arrogant and nasty? and why do Mods favor them?"

Still don't understand why WG won't just give us the names...

Most look like the old "Roll fist over keyboard" names to begin with.

Hiding names lessens the punishment. Leaves room for the offender to pretend something other than a sanction for cheating happened with their close friends. And shame should be a good deterrence for cheating.

Also makes it hard for people who are taking the time and effort to report cheaters to verify any action was taken. So it starts to look like nothing was done.

But, thanks guys for the effort.

WARNING!!! THE ABOVE POST WILL CONTAIN SARCASM. My day job does not allow sarcasm, so its use may be obscure and liberal.

Sarge: What a way to go. Killed by my own mechanical creations. I'm sure there's a philosophical lesson to be learned from all this.
Simmons: Something about the dangers of technology and the unwavering pride of mankind?
Sarge: No, something about hiring better help that doesn't just stand around watching you die!

I don't believe we should kill all the stupid people. Just remove some of the warning signs and let nature take its course...

Not sure why this announcement didn't include it, but the news announcement also had this line.

45 accounts penalized for using illegal mods or engaging in misconduct; of these, 7 accounts will be permanently banned.

However,  they didn't mention any of the accounts, even hidden. So some action was possibly taken, but against who, who knows?

Because they want their money so by keeping their names hidden with the ridiculous "privacy policy" the assholes that cheat are protected, but then are they really getting banned or is this just typical smoke and mirrors from Wargaming I mean if players consistently flout the rules and Wargaming does zip about it and I have proof then really are they actually banning said cheaters?

lol, so that will be 52 more re-roll cheat accounts starting up. Achieves nothing, there are more cheaters now than ever.
