In the AMX 30B and AMX 30 1er, the Loader moonlights as the radio operator as well.

In the Revalorise and AMX CDC, the Commander's the one doing the radioman's job.

 

This means that the four-man French MT's don't match their crew assignments, which means training Situational Awareness on the AMX 30 loaders is a waste when their crews are used on the Revalorise and AMX CDC. Training Situational Awareness on the commander instead means the AMX 30's would instead lose the benefit.

 

That's around 14m view range lost on either the prem Frenchies, or the AMX 30's. And seeing that all tanks in question need a buff, the additional 10-15m view range from having a functional Situational Awareness won't break WoT, but instead make the tanks a bit more useful.

And yeah, Crew 2.0's coming soon, but just throw a bone to the tech branch which WG seems to hate so much they pruned it and stuffed it in the Collector's bin, and their two premium tank crew trainers that can't even train the crews right.

 

Crew 2.0 will probably take some time to implement, which means there's enough time to enjoy the French tanks with proper Situational Awareness before Crew 2.0 breaks the game again.

As a bonus, the M4A1 FL10 does have a loader-radioman. Unfortunately, it's a Radioman main with Loader as a prestige class, so the crews still aren't aligned.
