I really want to know who thought giving the ShPTK-TVP 100 or the shit packet as i like to call it, 100mm of pen and 420 damage on its HE rounds? that has to be a 420 joke or something because that's absolutely ridiculous considering its standard rounds only do 250 it does and extra 70% more damage... if you look at tanks with bigger guns at the same tier they only do roughly 30-40% extra damage with less pen so chances are they wont even do that reliably. Essentially wargaming has made a tier 8 E25 with great pen on standard and HE, can have 50% camo if specd properly and have almost 6k if they manage to pen all HE shells, which isn't that hard since it has 100mm pen. I can't be the only one thinking this is not okay?

I love how the OP is complaining about a new OPish (for good players only) tank when he himself owns Progetto 46, Boursasque, 252U, SU-130PM, LT-432, GSOR1008, EBR75- FL10, E25, AMX 13-57, Crom B, LefH, KV 220-2

 

Looks like you have no problem spamming around in your OP prems but are a little butt hurt that you don't have the ShPTK-TVP 100??  The HE rounds, along with accuracy and fire rate is what makes this tank unique. It is a glass cannon however and you need to know how/where to play it.

It's an odd gun, but nothing extremely special about it.

Its AP actually has really low alpha for its caliber / tier, being more in common with the D10 found on the tier 6 SU-100, and is a mere 10 alpha more than a standard NATO 90mm gun.

Its HE is actually weaker than that on the NATO 105mm L7-clones, as seen on the Italians, Leopards, and Centurions.

 

That said, its DPM with HE is 4666, which is funny high and might be a trait of the line.

TVP100 has weak shell velocity in the AP/HEAT, and the HE is faster so it can hit burrasques with more ease. I feel so far TVP100 dies faster than the Su130pm because you only have 250 alpha which means alot of pressure to shoot one more shell, which means more skill involved. Su130pm tho can scare any tier who are hanging on 500ish hitpoints - Its a quick game ender. So thats some thing i had to get used too when i started playing this thing and i am still learning. And literally everybody is playing light tanks or TDs now, so you never gonna have those fancy games EU players get (as seen in their twitch streams). I often feel the Su130pm more stealth and alot more profitable than the TVP100 which is balanced tank and its different of su130 in terms of playstyle in many scenarios. So no nerfs required.

 

I am waiting until you complain about the Cobra since that thing have 200mm HE pen or something like that. I agree about the E25 part of your post tho. I run full HE in my E25 and it just feels too good but still balanced.
