What is the worst tech tree in WoT? I have a feeling its the UK line.

Those are nations, not tech trees.

 

In terms of nations, China has the worst tanks overall.

That's a tough one, but I'd say Japan.

 

Germany and USA have been powercrept but WG has buffed them enough to remain somewhat viable (Tiger II, M48)

USSR is the powerhouse

China and Poland are USSR clones, and so remain strong (but not as much as Russian tanks)

France, Czech, and Italy have funny quirky reloads. France is the weakest of the three, even with the recent Foch buffs.

UK has SConq, Bert, Cromwell, and CGC. Caernarvon is also buffed to relevance. Churchills and Centurions however are painfully powercrept, and their new LT line is so badly countered by wheelshits that I sometimes wish WG would just give us Blitz's UK LT line instead.

That leaves us with Japan which is more powercrept than UK, on top of their derp mechanic nerfed to uselessness. Only useful tanks they have is Ke-Ho and STB.

I like your poll. I would say Soviet Union (SU) is kinda of an okay nation. Its not so bad yet, because in the end all comes down to how you see the cup half full or half empty. You will see lots of players who drive these Soviet Union (SU) tanks being pretty noob, and they just play Soviet Union (SU) tanks because someone told them its op.

 

United States Of America (USOA) tanks? Well they are okay, not the worst, not the best, usually driven by a casual or by a complete potato, I think its one of the worst if you consider the M53/M55.

 

United Kingdon (UnKin) can be one of the worst easily. If you consider Conqueror GC and those kind of tanks that just go around derping people, I think this tech tree should be turned entirely into "pay2play" tech tree in which you have to pay in order to play any of its tanks so you can derp someone but at least support the game. Keep just the Manticore for free.

 

France (FC) have its charm, but from this point until the bottom of your list of nations, all nations included France (FC) seems to be kinda okay nations.

Tbh when I think worst, I don't only think of performance, but also variety. With that in mind, nations like Germany, US, and UK, despite having some mediocre choices, as some people might consider, at least you're given alot of options that could suit alot of playstyles.


For nations with little variety like Italy, Poland, Sweden, and Czech, the lack of more tech trees is mitigated by how strong the units end up being.

Japan though, I think has the worst of both worlds. Mediocre, with a lack of playstyle variety. Imo the only notable tanks on the tree are the STB, type 4, and the OI, and even then the OI isn't competitive, just has enough power to punch its own weight.

Oops this was me, used my brother's account by accident. But yeah, of all the tech trees I'm grinding at the moment, Japan's are the one I'm least excited about, close second being China. China is strong, but it's also kinda boring.

Japan definitely. Although Type 4 & 5 has the armor to ago around but pretty much less likely to survive now a days considering gold rounds are accessible.

Chi ha is okay, but I also find it boring. Plus you already get one from the Chinese tech tree too so it's not even unique despite being the original.

Honestly Japan MIGHT be the worst nation. But I only had a few games on the nation so its not my decision. And I’ve also seen very op Chinese tanks. This is probably the consequence of playing German, Brit, and US tanks a little too often.
