Is typing in minimap using xvm considered a bypass of a chat ban?

If so I will stop immediately.
Took 18 months to get the lifetime lifted, I do not want that again.

If the content violates the game rules and is visible to other users then yes.

Always amusing when there is a large member on the mini map.

Credit to those talented enough to carry it out

I wouldn't be too worried Alex, most ANZ players don't know what the mini map is

Wasaabi is correct Alex. Please do not risk it as you could get reported in game.

Want to elaborate on how you got a lifetime ban lifted ?

Sig number 6 gone . In Armageddon - Day 1.  Note the date .

You're a weird mob . I'd like to go quietly into the night . I understand Mods are here to stay . I understand Mission / SH / CW rigging is here to stay .

I'll not bother the forums with these things . Let me go in peace . Not sure though why I cannot try and get cheap gold if it's ok for others to do .

Depends how well you know Wasaabi apparently.

Trust me you're better off with the ban, the way the game is played ATM.

Also why is clan (thereby clan war/activity) chat also banned?
Surely if the guy who owns the clan doesn't like the chat he will boot the member?

Is there any chance WarGaming will review this aspect of chatbans?

Logical objections like the above have been raised many times, but given WG has done nothing about it to date when there was much more activity, hard to see them doing anything about it now when chat is close to dead.

And yes, I think the way they have mismanaged chat has been detrimental to the longevity of the game, by reducing community, but it's their game, their rules and they've given the impression that it's not something they want to spend effort on, so would rather reduce the hassle to them, then build and maintain sensible rules.

How exactly did it "lifted" I've been trying to get mine lifted and support won't budge on their decision.... permanent is lifetime. SMH

Well, you probably wouldn't want a ban just cause Alex got one either.

So yeah, every situation is different.

I got one when I was on a 6 month hiatus, so make of that what you will. Did me good really.

Look at Alex's clan history.

He knows Wasaabi, he platoons with jumphonner and there is a reason both aren't banned (I'm not worried who is banned or not, I'm just pointing it out).
